21 points shy of MVP USSR as of last night.

My guess is this years Tankbowl is in response to the complaints last year about how long the whole thing ran. This year seems much calmer, and less of a second job. The prize is cool, but nothing anyone would go so nutty over they impact gameplay, and do so for weeks on end. I like it, but I'm confident that I picked the right team to actually win this year. Thanks WG!

Ok, added two more completions for Stalin's minions...Sometimes I hate myself for playing under that flag of misery and oppresion :(

The 13. (Tiger) Kompanie, of Panzer Regiment Großdeutschland, reported on the performance of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56, when their Tigers engaged the T-34: "First round hits were usually achieved at ranges between 800 to 1,000 meters. At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

3 MoE tanks: T-34, Pz IVH, Tiger I, Pz.Kpfw. T 25, M7, T-50

I read somewhere that WG was going to post the 1st Quarter results today, but I have not seen anything yet.

Bad teams are in the same battle. Good teams work together! don't complain, contribute.

I spent my early Army years training solely to fight and kill Soviet tanks in Europe as a U.S. Army Ranger Infantryman. I spent two years in Iraq in the last days there seeing hundreds of former Soviet tanks, T-55's, T-62's, 64's, 72's, etc. I had feared, respected and yes in a strange way loved those squat, beautifully ugly and what I thought impenetrable turrets of especially the T-55, my favorite tank in the game!

My first Tier 10 Heavy was...what else, The "IS-7". OH MY GOSH! The best overall tank in the game IMHO. And the vast number of amazing Premium Soviet tanks makes them so tough to beat, even in the day to day battles we rage besides "Tankbowl". Thank you, my former enemy, for giving me the pure joy of vaporizing some hapless Tier 8 light tank unlucky enough to think that my squat, ugly IS-7 does NOT have an accurate gun...you just have to know how to lead your target.

But alas, I have to play on the U.S. Team, former Army Ranger and all, was really on the fence whether or not to go Rusky? I'm just playing my T-29, T-32 and the Blitzen, free tank after all, thanks WG! LOVE THIS GAME...sorry, could not help myself! Good Gaming, Keep Tanking, and see You on the Battlefield, I well be looking for you!!! Ya, ya, ya I know, Russia well most likely win but it's all Great Fun, Late.

Me too, so funny, just doing tank bowl 'cause I have never done one. Have 34,159 XP left for E-100 and 97,325 XP for STRV 103B, only grinding Sweden though, really love siege mecanic when you can use the speed and do a semi-power slide while going into siege mode, and the 103B is faster! Good gaming.

No doubt, no comparison to Champion, PMM, fast firing gun, good Tier armor. The gun depicted on the M4 is not even the correct for the stats. It has stats for the Ripper when to me the gun clearly looks like an early M4A1 w/76mm gun, which would make it a little more competitive. Also take note of my own profile picture, it literally has the sandbag armor and it does not look anything like that very poor depiction of said sandbag armor. It was the 14th Armored Division that predominantly ran the sandbags. It kind of worked against shaped charged panzerfausts. Patton's Third Armored initiated the cut-up Panther and Sherman tanks for the applied armor. And nope, I too am sure it well never be in the garage, lol.

Why not imagine you’re one of Khrushchev’s men during the de-Stalinization of the Soviet Union? Though he was still a close advisor to Stalin and took part in the purges. Lesser of evils?

Be verbose - you have a vocabulary for a reason.

Good with words; bad with tanks. At least I can talk you to death.

Nah, everyone knows who was the alpha dog in Soviet Union during those dark ages..All those other characters around him were just bugs trying not to get squashed if comrade Stalin had a bad day...Khrushchev was his personal clown and he only survived because he amused Stalin with his stupidity...Stalin was amused by making Khrushchev eating his soup without spoon with his hands on the back (that actualy happened)...Get the picture, he was slurping with his face in his soup...Post-Stalin period is pretty much also marked by a period of witchhunt (similar to US), but Soviets were prosecuting Stalinists...the worst accusation at that period would be if someone reported you for having Stalin's picture on the wall or visiting his mausoleum.

The only man who was ''brave'' enough to yell at Stalin in presence of others and lived to tell the tale, was guess who, the most incompetent general and idiot Klim Voroshilov...But Stalin spared him, cause he could hardly find someone as stupid and cruel as Klim to watch his back...That's why Klim Voroshilov is the only person, other than Stalin, to have a whole serie of heavy tanks named after him...Of course KV tanks could never be better than IS tanks, cause you know, that would fill Goulags with some tank designers and engineers...Kliment Voroshilov is also known as a man who signed an order for mass murder of 4000 Polish officers in Katin Forrest after Soviets occupied eastern half of Poland with their allies at that time, guess again, Hitler's Nazis...He is also known as a man who signed over 200 execution lists during the Stalin's purges...Klim was his faithful dog, not very inteligent, but he would never question Stalin's decisions...That's what made his name immortal with a serie of heavy tanks...Direct order of comrade Stalin as a gratitude for his service over the years.

So comrade, remember that comrades Koba and Klim are watching your performance for 'our' cause...

Btw, we have many tanks in WoT in honor of general Klim: KV-1, KV-1S, KV-2, KV-85, KV-3, KV-4, KV-4 Verzilla, KV-4 Kereslavskiy, KV-5, KV-5 Gorynich..

But never as much as tanks in honor of comrade Koba: IS, IS-2, IS-5 Glory, IS-5/Obj 730, IS-3, IS-3a, IS-3a Fatherland, IS-6, IS-6 Black Edition, IS-4, IS-7..

WoT would definitely be Stalin's favorite game...
