PS4 Pro or XBOX1, that is the question, but what is the answer? I don't even spell xbox1 properly, I could say AMERICA! Buy AMERICAN! But what would that give me? Is Bill Gates an American? I think so. I am looking for a new system just for playing World of tanks on a big easy to see TV. My eyes don't work, my fingers are clumsy, I find it very hard to play WOT on an I-pad hand held device, cant aim in time, unable to look around easily, It's just plain awful! But then there is the PC version, a little easier to play on but hard a hell to drive and steer using fat fingers. That keyboard and mouse is for the birds! I started on a typewriter when high-school had a class called TYPING-1. And still no good at it! But very SOON, (God willing) I will purchase one of these two consoles. I had a PS4 WOT account once and really enjoyed the game! I guess I will go with PS4 Pro, just to get my old tanks back, some tier 10s, but my dopey fingers have broken a few controllers. What system will be around for the next 10 years or so, and is better in the long run, any PROS and CONS are appreciated! Thank you. timsalways420,

PS. or should I invent a device that clamps to my keyboard, so my fingers don't get lost, and gives me a joystick for total driving control, or do they already have one? Tanks again!

I'd stick with PS simply because I wouldn't want to start back over at square one without my grinds and premiums

what he said, I've got both consoles, but only play wot on the pro, I've downloaded it on the xbox, but dont think i got the stomach to grind it all again.

Be nice if you could use the same account on both systems

If the Xbox one X is an option is go for that.  I used to have both consoles but the Sony broke and Sony's customer service is abysmal

get both if can its the way ahead  but remember the PS 4 pro is only a 4K updated PS 4 with bit of a tune like the Xbone S is the XBone 1X is almost an  enterly new platform albeit the use of a few interchangble internals from the XBone ! but the 2tb fills fast with games takeing up 150-200+ GB so you can fill memory fast and thats so you can get the full effect and use of  the full UHD gaming experiance

on a side note i cant tell the diference between both consoles when play them on my consoles  gaming TV  (Samsung 7 series 40 inch 2016  LED 4K UHD HDR ) but if use them on my TV in the living room  (Samsung 9 series 65inch 2017 super OLED 4K SUHD HDR+ ) then the PS4 Pro starts to lose quite heavely to the XBone X as it cant produce the same SUHD quality or definition ! but thats by the by both consoles are great IMO

I've got both consoles, and the Xbox One X version looks significantly better running at its native 4K resolution.

Ps4 Pro on the other hand looks miles better than the normal PS4 on UHD TV with its 1800P checkerboard rendering,

but things like shadows on grass and distant trees shimmer pretty badly at times (these are the artifacts caused by the checkerboard)

Also, if you only have the 1080P TV, it will be just identical to the normal PS4 due to the lack of downscale support. (which Xbox One X do support)

However I'm still playing this game on my PS4 Pro, simply because the Xbox version requires Xbox Gold membership (you know that pay monthly to play online thing, which I think is utter crap. Isn't WOT supposed be a free to play game? Why do I have to pay monthly to play on Xbox?)

I seriously hope WG console to do a patch on PS4 Pro to drop the checkerboard and do whatever native resolution that's possible.

In fact, a native 1800P should be 100% possible on Pro considering how this game runs at native 1080P on a normal Xbox One.

(1800P requires about 3 times the GPU resource compared to the 1080P, and PS4 Pro has more than 3 times the power of the normal Xbox One)

I noticed you mentioned controllers, I don't think you can go wrong with PS4 for durability on the controllers.

I'm still on my original ps4 controller after 6500 or so matches and it doesn't give me any indication of wear.

When I had a 360 I was going through about 3 controllers per year and the xb1 controllers (when I had one briefly) felt significantly less robust than the 360's.

Good luck with your purchase!
