Since Wargames seem unable to give us stats for our tanks as they are fitted (how hard could it be?) I am trying to figure out some stuff.

Take view range for example. If I have a tank with a 300 metre (to make maths easier) view range and have coated optics (+10% / 30m) and situational awareness (+3% / 9 metres (whoop)) do I end up with a 339 metre view range because all bonuses are applied to the base value or do the bonuses apply in an order so they are more effective when stacked, as the descriptions suggest?

Whaere would bonus for premium rations and brothers in arms fit in?

Cheers

I think it applies to just the base value and adds from there.

But yes WG don't tell us much, like no where in game does it say that view range is actually max 450 with the other 50 being camo reduction for reds.

This many years in and we don't even have dynamic stats yet in garage.

That makes situational awareness almost a luxury !. I thought skills might stack like the XP bonuses on premiums and go on at the end! 12m bonus view range max seems so little! maybe makes boosting camo more first a better option in some cases????

In the description it says 'more effective when used with coated optics' etc if the skill bonus doesn't go on at the end it isn't?? And how can recon and Sit. awareness can't boost eachother!?

Wargames' fibs, pah!

It is applied to the base value and then they add up from there. Try using the website tanks.gg to see how equipment and crew skills will affect your tank. Just keep in mind that tanks gg is for PC WoT so some tanks we have aren't on there, and some tanks have different stats

Thanks I checked, the they all get added on the base stat like you said. prem rations only seems to give about 4% according to that.
