Gun wise yeah, it's a very similar gun with lower rate of fire.

It has significantly better armour than the 122-54 though. Such that it bounces a lot of equal and lower tier tanks.

sounds good :coin:   Standby Wargaming for more support  !   RIP tier 6 tanks .

Apologies for the lack of information. I’m discussing with our teams how we can improve messaging for new content :). Glad you like the tank :D

Can please ask them to give up the culture of absolute secrecy about pretty much everything to do with the game?

I hope to one day be wealthy enough to be considered eccentric rather than just plain nuts.

So I gave in and went against my original thoughts and bought the Yazi. I'm not a big TD player but there are a few I enjoy. This one however has been a struggle for my first dozen or so matches. I don't have a very good Chinese crew and I think I was getting in a little to close to the action and relying on the armor to much because I didn't think the accuracy would allow you to play it as a true sniper. Also I'm using a rammer, vents, and coated optics. So to my point I really want to like this tank so looking for a little advice from the people having these monster matches. How are you playing your Yazi and what equipment and consumables set up are you using.

I only played 3 battles in mine last night, first 2 were so-so just getting a feel for it. The third battle was on ravaged capital, went hull down behind one of the walls and blocked over 3200. I had over 3500 damage and 3 frags, could've had more damage but only had limited targets on my side. Running rammer and gld, was waiting to see what to add next. Definitely putting vents for the third. To me it plays alot like the Su-122-44, the pen on it is awesome compared to the Su-122-44.

I've been playing it more like a second line heavy. The gun isn't bad enough that sniping isn't a viable option, but I always prefer more aggressive game play. I'm running coated, rammer, and vents. I also have a 9 perk Chinese crew with 6th sense, bia, track mechanic, repairs, camo, muffled shot, fire fighting, situational awareness, and silent driving.

I have had great results ( besides a couple of user -error games). I run mine with binocs, GLD and vents . My reload is 9.6 seconds with a 6 perk crew ( inc bia) .  I play it like the Su122-44 .  The gun is very good & the front plate will bounce a lot of damage .  It also has a pretty good camo rating .  I definitely prefer it over the Scorpion G .

This is why people are recommending this tank in the thread, they're playing it extremely aggressively. In my experience that's about 1% of all TD players.

If you're the 99% that bush-kemps and sits for days in one spot hoping something magically drives in front of your barrel at 400m, this ain't for you, and that was my point v. Skorpion.

Yes if you play it as you should, like the assault friendly 122-44 or 122-54, up near the front and assaulting constantly, it will perform based on what I saw yesterday on green and red. But if that's not your style, there are much better options for the money.

I let my 6 year old play with me, he loves it. Particularly driving over trees for whatever reason.

Unlike those who enjoy being tryhards, I don't sweat the WN8 or other nonsense...just a game to enjoy. :child:

Really makes the Kanonononnnen look unfortunate. I was debating whether to get T26E5 or Obj 252u for some pay-to-win action... now this.

Just keep my money, I suppose... next year they'll release something even more OP, making these tanks look weak. Gotta admit the Yazi looks pretty strong... 42ish°/min tank traverse seems outrageous for so much alpha.

yeah as an experiment i tried to use it as a sniper but all my shots missed and the reticle take years to close,so it is better at frontline brawler,it perfectly suits my agresive playstyle

I would like to know why the Xbox version got nerfed so hard ? 20m less view range is a big drop and the reload rate was slowed.

From what I can tell it is considered OP on PC so our version is more balanced just like the Defender is a little less OP on console.  I think this is a good thing since premiums shouldn't be stronger than the regular Tec tree tanks.  With that said, it is still a really good tank and well worth the money.  Now the tier X Chinese TD is another story.  WG completely got that thing wrong on console.

I just got it, and I like it. Still, nothing can beat scorpion in terms of damage dealing, but at least this one has some camo to come by. Although price for that skin is a bit too high, especially for a TD.

In terms of damage dealing, the ISU-122s is king.
