save game instead of replay !

I love the new replay option, but wouldn't it be nice to save the whole game and use the replay option later or even put it on best replay site for WoT, love to hear from you.

It would be useless. Nearly every time an update happens you either can't play it back or it's really buggy on PC for example. Some people keep multiple diiferent versions of the game installed to avoid this problem for their yt videos etc.

Remember, it's just a game!

Can you imagine the file size to save the entire game, it would be huge.

A gameplay file isn't big. It's just small amounts of data that the game engine then uses.

WoT PC replay files vary from 600KB to about 1,8MB. Just depends on how fast on 1 team was wrecked ;)

This is a console forum. PC is different.

And yet the same applies to the console replay savefiles. They aren't videos that are saved, they're just similar files that the game engine translates.

How do you think Halo did it years ago?
