Earned it yesterday as I needed 16k to wrap it up. Luckily I had 5 good games.

My hands are cramped, I think permanently stuck in the "C" shape from gripping the controller.

Just earned it, played 2 battes, its a good tank.

I've sold my IS-3 two years ago, its a nice tank (even if this one doesn't have the BL-9). I bounced 2 or 3 shots from a red IS-7, and penned 3 on him before he eventually out-DPM'd me.

Another fremium to my collection!

Why do you need a break if the Op was "too easy". People generally only need breaks after hard work.

400k XP was too much for a single reward, The only people that can realistically do that are players that already have or don't care about the tank - which is accurate going by the number of posts about enjoying the 6.1m silver.

There

I need a break more from boredom than hard work. It becomes overly repetitive to keep playing for the 150ish battles this op took to complete. I've played a lot this last week and I need to balance my tanking with family and work commitments.

This op didn't require skill, just game time. A good player with consistently high performance would be done in less games than an average one. It comes down to how much you want the tank. My platoon mates are both high green with the odd purple game. They both completed the op. Yes they took more games than me but they managed it.

I finished mine tonight. If this was the OP last year I would have got it then, and not have kept my wallet closed for 6 months

Indeed. I wanted it simply because last years lottery op was such a stupidly ill-conceived dumpster fire and I wasn't lucky enough.

I managed the fatherland I op and got a war chest... i thought I´ll get  a day of premium, but instead I got Pz.Kpfw. T 25. So all in all a great success.

400K XP was about right, it's a tier VIII Premium after all, £30ish worth of tank, not something you want to give away to anyone just for logging in.

Completed the Op 2 days ago, wasn't that hard, hardest part was juggling sleep, family and work. I only had to average 30K XP per day, which by using Premiums wasn't too much of a stretch, and the added benefit is I finished training up 4 crews to their eighth skill.

Even if I already had the tank I would have been pushing the Op for the Silver payment, 6.1 million is always useful in the kitty.

Now. How do I use this mobile scrapheap?

Must not be alone, must hide the triangle under the pike beak. You are blind, leave the first contact to others and then join them. As incredible as it is, your APCR bounces as much as that of a Cromwell (never used with the crommy for this reason) so beware of any inclined surface.

The tracks are made of glass, just looking at you in the viewfinder is enough to break them. Toolbox and any required repair skills.

Lots of juggling in french text, sometimes translator in trouble with that. If you do not understand what I write, tell me.

Cheers for that, any recommendations about equipment? (Already fitted a V/S and Rammer)

i am new player with this...

I just made a summary of the advice I received (and tested successfully). I am currently using a tool box, rammer and assisted (10% less time to aim, do not know the exact translation). Have tested shielding anti arty but if you pay attention it does not need and ventilation ... boff, less useful than a fast medium.

For when I'm the only level 8 in a game of 9 and 10 I do not hesitate to release the explosive charge hollow and aims the cap on the turret, always fun to see a lvl 10 back in disaster after being surprised by the effectiveness of your first shot, to prevent you from taking it aside, while he thought he saw a free-kill. Be the one who invites you when you do not expect it.

Those who play only at these levels do so to be always top-tier and have some free-kill per game, they tend to panic more easily than those you meet at the lower levels when you hurt them and they do not did not expect it. The Fatherland do it well, very well even !

Assuming you've fitted the GLD with that 10% bonus. Not as effective as a V/S as the GLD only kicks in when you stop whereas the V/S is active whilst moving, (but since it reduces bloom on the move, but when you stop the bloom is starting from a reduced diameter due to the action of the V/S).

Might look at Vents in the third slot, this thing's blind so don't think Optics would help as much.

Have the same thing with the FV4202 against tier X, people expect an easy kill so come yoloing towards me, then panic when they get tracked, penned and start bouncing off my turret, though to be fair, I think a fair few don't bother to aim and just use autolock since it's "only a tier VIII" and not expecting me to be able to hurt them back, let alone cripple them or kill them.

This morning a carefree E-100 showed me his blank, I pulled in his ammo-rack hoping to damage it .... it exploded. A stroke of luck, probably already damaged, but basically I knew exactly where to shoot.

Cheers for that.

Hmm, nothing out of the ordinary for a heavy, take it by the use of F/E people believe there to be a fire risk. Anyone able to comment about that?
