Who knows? Maybe being in club wargaming gives you exclusive MM

 Screw my elders!!!!

World of Tanks a game where it's 1 versus 29. 15 reds trying to kill you and 14 greens trying to support them. The yellows are your only hope. For signature and stats visit http://wotinfo.net/en/player-stats

You do realize the MM clearly says it will relax rules to make a match after a bit, there is no hard percentage it won't drop to after long enough

But I'm simply pointing out it's not as bad as he is making it out to be

I do want better hard MM rules though, but it does follow it's current set-up well even though it is a poor set-up to begin with

do i really need to point out everything again? I know the system is poor and should be changed, but it is working as designed.

What are the rules to vehicle weight among teams?  Seeing as it is very common for one team to outweigh the other by nearly 40% at times, what causes this?  Example: One team has 6 tier tens, 9 tier nines.  And the other team has 10 tier tens, and 5 tier nines.

Here's the official console match making page, everything you need to know, including individual tank weight.

The problem is doing it between teams isn't how MM calculates it since it doesn't math both directions correctly because the number can be 16.03 or 13.81 depending on whichever team you base it on

By basing it on the Total Weight vs the difference you will always get 7.42%

Thing is that's bad maths, you should base it on lowest team and calculate what the other team is beating you by. Not that any of that really maters as the rules aren't hard enough. They would be better dropping the 15v15 first and ensuring the matches are fairly even. A well match 10 v 10 is better than some of the things we see.

I honestly hardly ever notice this, but I'm not checking so it could be a lot more often than I think but since skill and tank type aren't taken in even a big swing doesn't ensure a victory

I am certain they are identifying player base by income potential and punishing according to some metric ..... or they are imbiciles and are trying to torpedo they’re own game.

either way it’s not good.

It might be bad math in terms of determining how even the teams are but for an automatic system to quickly pair things up having 1 number to compare instead of 2 makes it simpler to calculate and from every MM calculation I've done in the past few years it's clear on how it calculated it.

The system itself needs a titantic overhaul to really attempt better balancing between teams

Mm at its finest tonight. 2+hrs of game play and top tier twice.
I’m going to open a YouTube (grudgingly) and start posting these terrible low tier streaks. This is getting extreme.

We agree!!! On a serious note, MM isn't broken per se but the algorithm which controls it is flawed.

Here are a few examples of the current shortcomings which need addressing in order to get more balanced games:

The obsession with matching 5 man platoons - 5 man tier X is not "balanced" by a 5 man tier VIII. Better to match the 5 man X with 2 smaller tier X platoons.

Whatever the current weighting system says, putting most mediums on one side and most heavies on another leads to one sided blowouts. Depending on the map, the outcome is a near certainty for one side or another. Classes need to be balanced.

Obviously, tiers need equal spread too. Serious imbalances of top tier numbers is becoming more common.

Stop throwing in bottom tier for cannon fodder. Only yesterday, I was the only tier VI in a game with ... 29 tier VIII's. Why? At peak time!

Just a few suggestions which would go an awful long way to addressing the current problems with one sided games.

3 MoE's: Tier V: M-7, Stug III G, SU 85 - Tier VI: AMX Chaffee, AMX 12-t, M4A3E8, VK30.01.D, VK.30.02.M, VK30.01.P, JPanz IV, T 34 85, T 34 88, A 43, Chi-To, Hellcat, MT-25, Fury - Tier VII: T-71, T-20, Panther, VK.30.02.D, T-43, AMX 13 75 - Tier VIII: AMX 13 90. T-44. - Tier IX: Leopard PTA, T-54.
