There's been discussion earlier where this ( xb1 bushes > 360 bushes) has been in some kind of consensus, but if you say so I have to trust that.

Sorry for repeating fake information. :(

No worries, fake news is all the rage!

Apparently no concealment needed. Spotted enemies disappear within 200 m for me on overlord beach. Just camping and disappearing while shooting me. Me in the ml45 and a t30 and another destroyer just kept blinking and the tanks kept disappearing even though well within four view range with no cover or concealment and without us loosing site of them. On top of this my ammo was all defective except one shell. Aiming at the best location penetration was abysmal and was the same for my entire team. The red team however had quite good ammo and I’m pretty sure every single shot went thru - resulting in a 10 - 0 victory for the reds..... awesome equipment they have.

Wg  I love what your doing to the game! War thunder is looking better and better.

What if you push a few trees into the same location, does the camo value for each tree stack?

Yeah they stack.

Pretentious Latin phrase.

Don't forget that different types of bushes and trees have different camo values. Some hide more than others. In the past there were multiple versions of birch and poplar trees with different values, I don't know whether they have been standardised in any map revamps to move towards more of shared objects being used.

If in doubt, go for the bushiest of bushes... :)

Here under tank profiler and comparison, they have camo modifiers and you can choose between 3 options of different bush density.

Light bush - 10%

Medium bush - 25%

Dense Bush - 50%

So, if it's correct they stack than hiding behing more than one might make your tank invisible even when firing your gun at closer ranges.

The 13. (Tiger) Kompanie, of Panzer Regiment Großdeutschland, reported on the performance of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56, when their Tigers engaged the T-34: "First round hits were usually achieved at ranges between 800 to 1,000 meters. At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

3 MoE tanks: T-34, Pz IVH, Tiger I, Pz.Kpfw. T 25

Naturally the larger bushes provide more cover, but the small trimmed ones look cute.  No bush is acceptable as long as the grass is very short because it's a bit prickly.  Frankly I was expecting more innuendo...

In to the breach
