WG, stop the operations based on victories!

Hello WG,

 

On the last weeks I have only defeats and more defeats... So, please, stop the operations based on victories!
This kind of operations are very annoying and unpleasant when we have only defeats!

Do you want operations based on participation?  Like participation trophies and whatnot?

​Not that! By example, we have a operation to do 15 kills, but they only have effect if you win! It's better have an operation where you have to do 30 ou 50 kills, independently if you win or not!

I’m not a fan of the win requirement ops either. 3 out of the 4 last days have been sub 50% winrate. 25%, 45% and 50% respectively. One day was 70%.

It has been almost impossible to finish any op that requires winning. I wish I can take solace in that I’m coming up top the scoreboard in almost every match but I can’t. Too much is tied to winning, bonus XP, silver  bonus, daily xp bonus for first win takes forever, op completions.

I rather have a op that requires 30 kills win or lose. I don’t know, win requirements suck. I wish we could apply the daily xp bonus to any match we have played to our desire.

So if I played 20 games, I should apply the X2 bonus to any match out of those 20 win or lose, it doesn’t matter. One per day one per tank much how it is now except only for the first win.

New WoT goals and Thank you WG for providing a game for me to yolo in!

1.   Hit 40% Winrate (highest winrate 60.30%) (Current Winrate 59.66)

2.   Hit sub 400 wn8 (highest wn8 3242.36) (Current wn8 3231.13)

3.   Yolo my way to FV215b 183

4.   being the best at being the worst is still being the best!

I had a poor win rate the other day, but then I realised that the Guinness I was drinking was the 7.5 percent alcohol version. Suddenly the win rate made sense.

apparently the Red team took the operations based on wins a little too seriously!

If you can't get 15 kills in winning games in a day then you don't deserve a small prize.

Those little ops are fine.

Earn ops cause issues no matter what they entail it's the same on pc and blitz.

Even at sub 50%, you should be aiming to kill one enemy tank per game at a minimum, more if you are a higher tier.

So at 40% you would need to play 40 games?

If you can't squeeky out the occasional 3 or 4 kills in a win to speed up the process the issue is not the Op.

every time there is an op players increase the requirements of the ops are irrelevant. On blitz it results in more insults and poor play on pc it's the same. This op isn't even win based it's performance based but it hasn't made the games any less [edited]in terms of player quality

I’d simply prefer a Xp based reward system . It’s easy and fairly straight forward. 

 

Once you start putting specific conditions in the mix. It can spoil the experience for many. 

Eg. Earn 10 steel walls. Etc

well if you play light tanks or arty (I feel the ire stating when I mention arty) your going to struggle to earn those. 

 

The reverse can be said 

earn so many spotting ribbons etc. If your in a super heavy or just a tank line with poor spotting. You most likely struggle.

 

xp rewards are able to be applied across all tanks very easy.

 

just my two cents.

I personally would say those problems are with the player base and not the op itself, but cause and effect ... I can see how the two are linked.

I do prefer “top five” ops or even “top xp earner on your team” ops over “do x in a winning battle”.  It’s more frustrating to do really well but not enough to carry than to not do well enough period (or full stop for the Brits ;)).  I can accept when I’ve played poorly.

It's supposed to be challange. When you get your frags, you'll lose most of the time. Try un-tick the op -Is there a difference?

I think this one is OK, because win rate doesn't have to be affected. You could still have a 50-50 chance, it's just the distribution of the frags that is affected. But the worst of them all is the "Honor and Glory" op where you are supposed to win 10 times. My win rate always drops. I've tried to un-tick it but I'm caught under a bad spell  for the duration of the op.

The problem of this kind of operations it's that you are not alone, so, winning or losing, it's not a player dependence but a team dependence.

​By exemple, yesterday I've played with my Emil I and my Dead Star. On 7 battles I've made more than 15 kills... But as I only won 3 times, it was not worth the effort made in battle... It's very frustrating...

Games that you get 6 - 7 kills, I find, are where you have a useless team and it winds up at the end with me vs 2-3 reds the greens couldn't deal with. 

 

Remember that most players in a team get 0 or 1 kills in a match. Even with  WR of 50%, that's well over 30 games to get a single good games worth of XP. 

 

The arty op though is just fun, and a great reward.
