All depends what you like to play. The brits are quite hard to play mostly. They tend to be fast firing, high pen, low alpha with low armor except for the armored TD line. The mediums are fun tanks to play

Line that leads to Cromwell obviously...The most fun tank in Brits TT...AT line and heavy line is like having a root canal...So slow that you'll have plenty of time to watch the grass grow..

The 13. (Tiger) Kompanie, of Panzer Regiment Großdeutschland, reported on the performance of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56, when their Tigers engaged the T-34: "First round hits were usually achieved at ranges between 800 to 1,000 meters. At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

3 MoE tanks: T-34, Pz IVH, Tiger I, Pz.Kpfw. T 25

If you go up the medium line first, I believe it helps ease the burden of the heavy tank line grind, as many of the tanks share the same modules making it less XP for certain packages on the heavy tanks.

If you look at your profile... learn first to play hull down with your T29 / T34 etc..

The British heavys must play smart and always hull down.. the med need a good map outline.

You will not be happy with the British Tanks with your knowledge. For that they forgive too little mistakes! The ammo rack is delicate by the British Tanks.. if you don t play hulldown...

The American Tanks are lot easier to play and there are still some problems..

But otherwise start with the meds!

Depends on your preference. Heavies tend to be very immobile, but accurate guns with high DPM if you can stand the heat of a tense gun battle or learn to angle a Churchill.

Mediums tend to be amongst the most agile and versatile in the game with excellent guns, but the armour is utterly pish and cannot be relied on at any tier.

The AT line are slow, but we'll armoured. You can either boss the field and troll all comers, or be wrecked by auto penning enemies and arty before you even get going. The reward is the Deathstar at the end which reverses the pattern.

The mobile TD line is a mix of good guns on poor platforms, followed by great guns on good platforms but with obvious weakspot. Most tanks are little more than mediums with bugger guns so are not groundbreaking.

True If you unlock the 20lb on the centurion 7 it saves you 45k xp on the carney.

Good to know. The CAX I think is the tier X i like the appearance of the most in game, so will push on with this grind.

Getting lots of practice hull-downing with the Jumbo, and generally have a preference for fast meds (T-34, VK3001D). CAX turret looks decently thick and sloped.

It isn't. It's a mess. It's a tier 8 turret, you can see the exact same one on the Carnarvon. It just has extended view range to make it tier 10. The upper plate is 70-90mm which means it gets overmatched all the time because it's a big flat plate if pain. It isn't at the kind of angle of the stock Centurion turret, so if you compare the buffed Centurion turret on the Primo Victoria you will see what a big difference in effective armour there is (also, no mantlet).

Getting spanked on the corners by HEAT ruins your game.

Still a reasonable tank, but don't rely on that turret for anything at all.

I find the CAX very hard to play. The gun seems to troll me a lot, and with lowish dpm, missed shots hurt. The soft stats hurt here (not russian), so snapshots aren't reliable.  Don't expect to bounce much with it either.  I know some people love it, but I end up getting frustrated with it.  Although, the line wasn't overly difficult to get through with some fun tanks.

Otherwise the British lines aren't good.

The heavy line is utter garbage until you hit the Conq, and even then you have to really abuse the terrain due to terrible armour (the gun can do some work, though). It does lead to 2 tier 10s, but man... the grind is tough (expect to quit the game after having to play the churchill 3 times).

The sh*&barn line has some fun tanks, but you play on console so it'll be 2 years until we get the buffs that PC got, so the top tanks are very difficult to play with mobility issues and little gun depression. No armour too, so if you get spotted, expect everyone to target you for free xp.

The deathstar line isn't good in the current version of the game, either. Glaring weakspots in every tank in the line, the guns are crap till 10 (low pen, low alpha) and you'll just get artied constantly. If we ever get the arty fix (consoles being years behind pc, good luck us second class citizens), it will help a lot.

And the Arty isn't American, so... that should be enough said.  Get yourself a Skill Cannon, and lolz...

Once they finally buff the turrets, I would say the medium line leading towards the Centurion AX  is very good for both beginners and advanced players.
