Tankers, 

 

We have seveal changes in update 4.4 so we are going to break them down for you.

 

Prokhorovka - Winter

  • Camo Type: Winter
  • Battle Tiers: 3+
  • Game Modes:
    • Standard
    • Team Destruction
    • Encounter
  • Size: 1000 x 1000

The river and pond has frozen over during the winter months. This makes these areas quicker to traverse and provides an alternate route that can be used to flank, take cover in, or scout the enemy on the hill without sacrificing your tanks mobility. 

 

 

 

Additional Changes

  • Maps removed temporarily due to update size limitations. These will be rotated back in at a later date. 
  • Redshire 1944
  • Northwest
  • Windstorm
  • Tundra
  • Tundra - Winter

Why remove 4 maps and a variant for 1 map variant? I thought you didnt want people to see the same maps over and over? You've just increased the chances now

I think its worth. Maybe we can exchange some more Maps like Malinovka or Live Oaks to get even more Portaits in the next Update.

I like your sarcasm. Very cutting. The only time I ever gave a rat's behind about crew portrait was for my Valkryia Chronicles tanks. Every other crew portrait is irrelevant and I hope WG realizes how retarded they are for greenlighting a stupid change like that. For one, all of the new crew portraits look like crap. Second, why remove maps for some made up space limitation? Microsoft is dropping all support for the 360 soon so I hope WG does the same.

You guys taking away maps to cram in more worthless War Stories is getting old.  How about spending more time getting us caught up to PC?  I play another game that is six weeks behind the PC version.  How is it you guys are almost a year behind?

Definitely would've rather kept the other four maps in rotation than add this crap variant.  Sorry, but there's nothing new and impressive about this map at all.

Fancy meeting you here, Thrill. Anyway console being behind the PC version isn't all bad. PC has a lot of stuff that I genuinely do not ever want to see implented into this game. A lot of PC players I talk to are giving the console version a shot because of recent changes like the arty "nerf", 3-5-7 MM, and the constant buffs to the russian tech tree. They don't need to worry about "catching up", they need to focus on bringing over the right content and stop removing maps to cater to 360 users.

Great another winter variant no one asked for or wanted.   You need to cut out some variants not add more in.   Example your War variants are way better than the originals they are based on and any other variants so why not remove all the others and stick with the better versions that set apart pc and console.

and even that they always say that war stories crap dont take much space, multiplayer lose something when they add more crap to that boring and pointles crapy mode. I always thought that this game is all about the multiplayer thing, not some pointles, boring war storie game and in that direction they are going full speed and thats only going to kill this game

Seriously - I'm at a loss how the frozen pond and river add any strategic value whatsoever - tanks on the hill can be easily spotted before they start climbing that location. And why would you put yourself in a hole that only has one way out - quit taking away maps, get rid of all the variants.

Just ditch WS.

 

Resorting to removing maps in order to roll out more WS content is going to start annoying a lot of people I'd wager. 

 

In fact, stop developing new maps, including weather effect variants.

 

just stick with a stable roster of maps and that'll do. Don't need new maps, don't need gimmick maps.

Hey, what's up. I don't care so much about getting PC matchmaking and arty changes, but I do want new tanks.  I really start to lose interest if I have nothing to work on and I have most the tanks I want.

The only problem is that WG would have to drop the 360 or at least have that system playing only with other 360 players. There would be no way for update 1.0 to be available to the console base unless WG does something about the 360.

I have to say I think this part of the update was a pretty big mistake. Losing 5 maps in exchange for 1 new WHITE map that plays exactly the same as the original,is a bitter pill to swallow. If the data footprint is the problem there must be other places to trim the fat.

Why add a reskin of a map that results in almost zero gameplay difference, and then remove the much better version of redshire...
