Statistically, it makes perfect sense.
Fewer players mean greater impact per player on the average.

The winning team should be the team with the highest amount of completions! China and France were under represented in all battles over the weekend...majority were always American and German.
This is a messed up way to conduct an Event!
USA and Germany were the top teams represented, and USA beat Germany......USA WINS!
FIX IT!
The event didn't follow your rules. Maybe read them next time instead of making up your own.
If you enjoy them please do share/sub. Thanks.

US will pretty much never win because a vast majority of noobs play those tanks. Fact. There are tons and tons of players who always only put in 1 completion playing US. There were so so few China players - but people who play China are likely very serious about the game and very serious about racking up completions. Split 4 ways, the underdog/pro player choice, has a major advantage, hence the results.
Im still surprised Sweden lost to the US though.

There is no way that China won this Tank Madness. We all saw very little Chinese and French tanks over the weekend. The majority of tanks being played were American and German.
I dont believe the stats being given by Wargaming. Something isnt right here!!
America and German will most likely have had the most 'one and done' players - those that chose China/France as going to be those doing multiple completions.
Makes me wish I'd chosen China now, the Legion was the only tank I didn't have. But after all the Sweden effort I put in, I didn't expect an upset in the final.
I did about 10 completions for China this time around. I thought it was a forgone conclusion that France would win out, but I found some very dedicated Chinese tankers while I was out there with my WZ-111 1-4. I didn't see many Chinese tanks out there, but when I did, they were usually in the top five, which is more than I could say for the French/Germans/Americans.
It's unfortunate that the reward is an ugly 59-Patton but I'm happy the one tank I didn't have is the one I've won.

We'll have to get a special counsel to waste millions of dollars and thousands of hours to investigate this.

#woot!
But I know Maffs and I still picked the wrong team? As you point out, I need to do better Maffs!

This.
You didn't win. So? Not everyone gets a trophy in real life.
You knew the rules going in. They were announced before the whole event started weeks ago. It's not like they changed in mid-flight.

Please share the link showing who plays what. Would be nice to analyze.
I'm happy with the result even if France didn't pull it out.
I had a suspicion with 4 nations in the mix the underdogs would come out on top... and china has some tanks with strong potential... I enjoyed playing France but China is one of my favorites. I'm not sure underdogs can win in heads up though so Ussr may still have the edge in the upcoming event.
When a person resorts to attacking the other person rather than focusing on the issue (aka argumentum ad hominem), it becomes pretty clear they have nothing else to contribute and are wrong.
