That's the point, more popular the nation, the more completions the team need.

Averages over Popularity, Popularity does not guarantee a win. If 10 do Germany and do 1,1,1,2,3,1,4,5,3,2 = 23/10 = 2.3 Completions If 3 do China and do 2,1,7 then = 10/3 = 3.33 Completions

That's what people don't understand.

Hell USA even beat Germany.

Before Donny comes on here, it's a New Thread but it's relevant to the topic. Init before he says i'm repeating myself.

I can't believe the idiocy of these people who thought getting everyone to play US or Germany would get them this win.  You can thank a certain political party, FB bots and an out of control religion for de-funding education and creating "potatoes" of American kids.  Here's a tip MATH SKILLS = MAGA ... Bowing to the moderators now...

In to the breach

How was this any fair tho?.   We already know that a select few play China and other nations.   A small player base already gives them a huge advantage and thus likely to have a higher average.

This was really a 100 Chinese tankers vs a 1000 German tankers.   Obviously China already has the upper hand here.   It’s garuanteed for them to have a higher average from the get go.

I surmise that 100 point mvp goal was put in to discourage the one and done effect. Obviously, it did not. Now have to decide if I want to pay half-price for a so-so Chinese premium.

In a round about way Russia won again lol. There wouldn't be a type 34 if the t-34 hadn't been there to copy to begin with. Still Russian bias :teethhappy:

For those complaining about average completions.

They had an event once in the past, forget which, but it was based on total completions and it was a landslide for the big 3. So to give smaller/less popular nations a hope they introduced the average rule. Thus highly dedicated japanese tank players stood a chance against russia in the future. Forget which event it was, but it was laughable at the gap the bigger nation had.

Wouldn't be suprised if it was a tank bowl or tank madness event, either way it was points/completion based.

Note: Should also point out that during that event the more popular nation, russia or germany in that case. I got my 1 and done and the gap was still massive due to the number of players in it. Very next event is when they introduced it.

Yeah, my only regret is not picking china with my alt (and working towards completions) but now for the first time, Russia are vulnerable, Germany and USA lost (albeit with a handicap).

I like this format, i really do (minus 1 completion thing) :)

Yep Tank Madness 2017, Russia beat Germany then no contest in the final (when 0 completions were counted).

Based on a average. What a poorly thought out way to decide a victor. Most completions is the true victor in my eyes.

Which would always mean the contest would cone down to the nations with the moat tanks. this way is fairer and represents player effort a lot more.

Winners are determined by the Average rate of completions for those who have 1 completion, not the most completions. :honoring:

CASUALLY the system works like this ONLY in the Final.

CASUALLY the most populated nations that were the ones giving more completions every single game are the ones with worst results.

CASUALLY half forum was crying over Germany's crushing victory this week.

CASUALLY the results have been delayed for several hours when the results must be absolutely done after a couple days after the end of the event and a oportunistic delay on the post.

Come on! This smells as fishy as a serve of seafood in poor condition!:facepalm:

It's not the winning teams fault if the losers fielded a lot of potatoes.

We all knew how the contest worked and everyone could of trained up some Chinese tanks, or bought a premium.

I was at a huge disadvantage in the USA vs Sweden match. I had to train up an American tank as i sold mine years ago. But i played the T1 and got the m6 and worked away.

Ah, knew it had to be something like that, because I remembered japan and another getting absolutely destroyed.

The only possible way for Wargames to avoid all the cries of rigging would be to release the raw numbers of how many people played for each nation and how many completions were done. That way people could see for themselves.

But Wargames once again insists on shooting themselves in the foot with their excessive and pointless secrecy. What possible harm could come from releasing the raw numbers if everything is above board?

I like it as well, it really rewards good players regardless whether you are on the winning team or not. My win rate may not be great but I'm usually in the top 5 regardless.

So please post the details of the numbers of players who played over the weekend, which team they chose and the number of completions they did. Because we don't belieive you. It's actually a sad fact that WG staff have so little credibility when it comes to WoT console that this is so.

If arty numbers 3 or more, A shitty game will be in store.

A Good point.... hopefully they will decide that withholding the data is pointless, a bit like me picking Germany and not getting anything for the MVP

Yet if Germany or USA won, i bet you wouldn't be saying this.

Goes for everyone complaining.

I would like to see the data.  Win or loose, I like data taken from activities.  It helps me understand what happened better.
When a man with a .45 meets a man with a rifle, you said, the man with a pistol's a dead man. Let's see if that's true. Go ahead, load up and shoot.

Honestly, this was a lot of work for not much payout. Will not be bothering next year, at all.
