The biggest travesty is that Emperor Napoleon is only remembered for Waterloo.

And the shambolic retreat from Moscow.

So the Italians were chickens, the French were traitor and the Americans were? Cowards or traitors? Mind you it only took them 2 years to man up the second time round rather than 3 years for the first world war..

Now someone can point out something bad the brits have done, not me although I know of many. Every nation has done questionable things, but I think it's fine to laugh about it cos I'm not PC.

It’s the only line where the tanks can switch sides halfway through the game.

I hope to one day be wealthy enough to be considered eccentric rather than just plain nuts.

While that is intended to be a slight on the Italian army during ww2, I wish my in game  tanks would go faster in reverse....certainly preferable to exposing the tanks rear armour to an advancing enemy. AFAIK The  British Archer TDs and Crusader Arties are the only in game vehicles which go faster in reverse.

Actually they don’t. The guns are pointing out the backs so if you try to drive them in the direction the guns are pointing you’re actually going in reverse. Those vehicles were intended to back into firing position and then be able to quickly run away.

You must be mistaking them for the French, the Italians went into battle knowing their tanks were vastly inferior & were going to get it handed to them.

If anything, the Ities were exceptionally brave to do what they did in tank battles, my hats off to them.

mamma mia!!! ma che stai dicendo? gli francesi hanno dei carri armati che fanno paura, al contrario dei carri armati Italiani!!!

Bad teams are in the same battle. Good teams work together! don't complain, contribute.

Are you aware of the Normandie- Nieman Squadron that helped USSR during WW2? these guys are still remembered today and celebrated like heroes 75 years later....

read the book, "An Army at Dawn"...if you want to read how truly inept the United States, and to a large degree Britian, were during the North African campaign (US entry/dawn into WW2).  It will actually make you sick to your stomach some of the blunders. God had to be on the side of "good".

I think most people should read Churchill’s World War II, a 6 book series, or get the audio book. It would add significant perspective for these types of threads that always turn into “who won the war” pissing matches. I chuckle at Americans that say that Europe is lucky they don’t speak German thanks to us “Yanks”, and I laugh the same at those from Europe who say that the US didn’t do anything until 1941 and then only reluctantly. There is so much more context and most people seem to simplify it for their own interests.

BTW...Churchill called WWII the “preventable war”, and he won a Nobel Prize for Literature for his book.

Now that would be great fun! We should also have a commander named Bertorelli say "whatta mistaeka to maeka!" whenever you fall to your death or drown yourself.

Tiers 7,8, and 9 have exceptionally high mobility with some of the best effective traverse rates in the game.

The italian crews have a unique perk: they can switch teams if their initial one is losing.

W/L ratio always 100%.

I think it was less about “manning up” and more about “not our problem.”

It's nice to see a new line especially the Italian's as people have asked for these for years. I personally love all the historically accurate lower tier tanks a's you can see the evolution of the tank. I will happily play them but don't think I will be bother with the tier ten unless there is some kind of rework
