I don't normally report players...
But 5 matches today, there were at least two tanks that sat there and did absolutely nothing.
And two of them were chatting in game chat about what they were planning on doing this week.

I messaged them and stated that I would be reporting them for their inactivity.
One responded with "F**k off W*****r, I work for WG. report me and you'll be banned for life."
The response of "Come on mate... ban me!!" did nothing... I am still here :) (for now)
I deleted the conversation, blocked, and reported the little *******.

Reporting them to MS will do nothing unless it is a major infraction, or they are consistently reported for the same minor infractions.
The reputation score must be awfully in the negative for MS to intervene.
Can we have an ingame reporting system to report infractions to WG instead of to MS / PSN?

Cheers.

Wow, that is crazy. I doubt a WG employee would say that. If they did, they would probably be banned for life...lol. Probably some dude wanting to hang with a friend, but not actually play.

Yep, completely agree!
That's why I gave the response I did. but when we were getting slaughtered, it would have been nice for a couple of the top tiers to chip in :)

Actually Microsoft would probably temporarily comms ban the one who messaged swearing at you, if you reported the message. Microsoft are really strict with swearing.
Pssst. I know who you are. Hail Sithis

Well?  What were they going to be doing this week? Inquiring minds want to know.

These players knew full well what they were doing and how it is viewed in game.

I just don't see why people would inform such individuals that they are going to report them.

'Imagine if this forum had only players who actually win more than lose trying to tell others how to play. Would be the best forum ever. Instead, we have a bunch of morons who lose more often than not trying to tell their betters how to play their tanks.'

'The term "casual gamer" is actually not accurate enough anymore to describe what the larger market is like. They want the illusion of accomplishment, but not the effort associated with it. The players aren't really doing anything, something else is doing it for them, and the player takes the credit for it.

No matter what.... if you think something is a genuine rules violation.... you should report it.  Repeat offenders do get punished and do get banned....we usually never hear about it because WG doesn’t “name and shame”.

Í was not really following the conversation.
I do remember something about wanting to be crapped on by an eagle.
The Eagle was sh**ting on him tomorrow.
That kind of peaked my interest... There's nought as weird as folk!!

I've just recorded a clip where a SU101 "tried" to shove 2 light tanks (one was me) out into the open, 20 feet infront of the enemy that guy in his TD wasnt able to shot, i mean scout ok, but im not yoloing into a T-30. Anyway i will file a report for this guy. I have absolutely no bad feelings about beeing the one reporting those a**holes.

WGCB are subject to XBL terms of service too.  The Twitch incident a couple years back proved that one.

Which incident?
