If they can use this WarStories map...

 

Please insert the map Mines from WS...

This map is way more fun than Mines is and i even believe that it would be a blessing for tier X games, compared to the old Mines tier X games...

 

So many ups and downs, or buildings, bunkers cliffs that are usable in combat...

 

So please WG port Mines WS into the multiplayer games :)

Cars, only a few and like the buildings they are a 1 shot by by cover situation...

The tanks however can be used as cover.

The 1 shot cover options create a new dimension in fighting, so that for me would be a nice challenge to play.

And don't get me wrong, im not saying it would be iDeal for tier X, but much better suited than the old mines.

Perhaps, but that "new" mechanic is kinda annoying to say the least, seems that the ludicrous dispersion added isn't enough protection to the brainless YOLO's that populate this game that WG has to make every shot unreliable unless done with the barrel directly inserted on the objective.

It's... it's very open and exactly like the WS layout all the way to including docks to hang out on.

I don't know whether it's good or bad yet, but do know you get spotted super easily at tier 10. Also there's a giant section in the central SE corner that's a mass expanse with basically 1 rock for cover. It was pretty awful when I tried to fall back in my 50 b only to realize "there's nothing here!?!" and decided to just stop and accept my fate vs hide behind a rock barely larger than my tank.

If you love concealment, you're probably not gonna like this map. It's also dangerous to high mobility vehicles more so than thiepval when it comes to sudden drops. That said, it's definitely not a corridor shooter and accurate tanks will do well. Super heavies nope.

Maps looks like a little vulgarity got in it.


Arty players hate the game.  Gotta love being able to not use the full map because you must be "arty safe!"

IS-7 south spawn and felt like soft ground. Could barely keep up with a E-100 FFS. Why WG? Why make it soft ground?

I have played the map twice, once from each spawn and lost each time. Not entirely sure where to go, only played it 1 time in war stories.

I got this map today.I had no Idea we got a new map.A big open map.I played a Regular game.

I love this map. Large and open...yet areas where you can hide. Only played it once...but way better than nomnomham.

I’ve only played it on war stories when it first came out on runaway tiger . As soon as I played it . I wrote on the war stories forum and a ticket saying this map should be in mp rotation.

I’ve had two games on it so far, both with artillery.  Plenty of avenues to farm damage.... but plenty of good players already exploiting the terrain to stay Arty safe!  I’m still waiting to pull a game with any of my non-Arty so I can run the same terrain.

Just played it, south spawn, tier 8 in 10s, went west. Looks like an awesome map! It actually reminds me most of that big desert map from BF4.

Played it for the first time today, encounter battle.... flag is dead centre of map & wide open space.

Ran around with AMX CDC lots of assisted damage due to spotting, suits light & mediums with lots of interesting high points.

 

Will be looking forward to trying it again.

I knew there was something up. Played it about 4 times now and each time it felt like something was wrong. Wasn't sure if it was just my imagination or if it really was soft around.

It could also be that it's soft and medium, but the visual difference is subtle. I do know there's spots that tanks run like it's medium, then others they struggle and it looks very identical. Doesn't help that one of the vehicles I had in one match was the WZ-111G FT and that has both p/t and resist issues. 12 hp/t, 25 d/sec, and 1.3/1.8/2.9 fully upgraded for those curious just how bleh.

True. Was in my IS-7 and it has godawful GR. :(
