Had a epic six kill game in my defender first time playing the map. I like the open map, especially in my boresig with all camo perks and camo net.

It’s a good addition to the game

Because it’s a desert. Just be glad it’s not a Rasputitsa mud fest Russian map.

I am not the one to ever complain about new maps. One observation however - is that the share of large maps is increasing, which makes slow tanks more of an annoyance than before when there was no NomNomHam variants, Alamein, etc. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of playing Alamein in Super Pershing and it was a drag, with no tactical freedom - you’re are pretty much comitted to wherever you managed to crawl to, even if it’s an empty flank.

A personal observation is that i found myself wishing that they took any of those large maps - and made two maps out of each of them, splitting them right down the middle into a separate map. Vertically or horizontally, chef’s choice.

I think most of the maps from war stories are quite nice and would like to see them in multiplayer. They are using up space. Why not?

So funny thinking about the dividing line between people that play lights and arty and people that play heavies. The heavy people get mad because the maps are to big and the light/arty are mad when maps are to small and city. Just keep in mind folks, can't please everyone.

Still haven't had the map come up.

War is a Democracy and the enemy always gets a vote.

I have had it only once and it seems like a modified Kasserine. So much for good map rotation.

I'm just saying.....

I've only seen this map twice now and both times I was in arty... It's not bad for arty, plenty of places to rain down salt effectively. :)

Pretty interested in trying a scout run next, lots of room to move and little dips n gullies to play in :great:

Played it 3 times now, probably one of the best maps in rotation. It-s been good in meds and lights. Still learning the ins and outs of it.

We really need these new large maps,. I know its a pain in slower tanks but the larger size mean that strategy comes into play, ( ok I know getting 15 randoms to plan anything is an exercise in futility) but you never know.

Forget 15...but if you mic up at the start and get 2-3 other randoms to work with you...it does make a significant difference.

It's desert sand, should be sluggish!

I have played the map twice, once from each spawn and lost each time. Not entirely sure where to go, only played it 1 time in war stories.

I play it like murovanka,  nomoreham (or whatever it's called).

Loving the map! Better than the crappy city maps like ruinberg, ensk, homelessdork! :)

Ok, so I've had more goes at it in different vehicles. It's definitely medium for the most part. However, the map does have an ever present slope in various directions. It's subtle and shifts in spots, so it's hard to tell if you're going up the tiniest incline or on an actual flat level area. There's also harder surfaces that tend to blend in along the roads/paths, so it could be that as well.

Haven't found any for sure soft terrain patches, but I'm still reluctant of the darker patches you find in the various crevices.
