Please fix shell velocity stats.

Or change the in game mechanics. A tank circling less than a couple feet from the end of a barrel of the enemy tank cannot travel fast enough to cause the shell to fall behind the circling tank .

 

So a 1020m/s is traveling a kilometre a second.  I wrote a post a while back about this. I did the math back then and it worked out the circling tank would have to be traving around 6000 kilometres per hour. It was some crazy speed.

6000 kilometres per hour equals 1666.666 meters a second

Lol that doesn't have anything to do with it. It's server lag. Well not really but it's the server trying to keep uo with the client is why it does it

Well they should remove the stats . They mean nothing. I guess it’s only for a penetration guide.

Wat? No lol. It's more you just don't understand how it works. Yes it's annoying as hell. But best you can do is aim farther in front of the target at close range like that.

At the ranges most circles of death occur, if the defender’s gun is aimed at the attacker (such as auto-lock), the round would hit - even with a velocity as low as 700 m/s.  A circling tank doing 50 kph moves at 13.9 m/s perpendicularly.

 

So yeah, it’s a bit silly, but the game fudges a lot of things.

The shell velocities do mean something, but it's only the drastic ranges you really notice, such as sub 400, 750-900, 1200+. comparing 900 to 950 is too small to notice.

Yeah, you're just getting delay, it's annoying and always has been, so just lead even further.
