Who needs to know were the tanks are hey wargaming? just in the past hour i crashed into the enemy team then its like oh hey tank's spotted. Last night in my kv220 i could not see anything a t40 tier 4 td killed me had to drive into his shell's to spot him might aswell be playing with a blind fold. Though all Russian tank crews are blind sense they all have less than 330m view range at best.

Here is the clip i spot a t10 point blank back up oh can't destroy building anymore so i backup more than beep beep crashed into/spotted 5 tanks.

This just speaks for itslef

Sounds like the super server isn't so super - but realistically, did you expect WG to get it right this quickly? Give them another 2 years and about 8 or so updates and then it just might work.

This so called super server is just something to keep the players playing

I'm not seeing what's wrong.  Spotting seems to be working ok on the first one, and the second one is just the crappy weather spotting

We aren't on the "super server" yet though.

Could someone clarify what happened in the first video? I didn't notice anything abnormal. Same with the second one (weather variants are cancer).

Not gonna dispute that WG [edited]ed up, but I don't think these are good examples.

You missed some shots.  Either lag or didn't lead properly. Weather maps sucks, sadly. That was already crap before, nothing new.  :)

In the first video, you don’t have line of sight.  You proxy spot the T-10 when it gets close enough on the other side of the buildings.  When you roll back to him (around the back side of the buildings, you then spot the tanks you originally had no line of sight on.  Maybe I’m not seeing something, but it looks like normal spotting mechanics to me.

The second video, your view range is low due to the extreme weather effects.  When you spot tanks near you, they do appear to be at the edge of your view range cone, as should be expected.  So I still don’t see anything abnormal.

Maybe someone can point it out to me.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with either of those videos.

In the first video, he was behind a structure blocking direct line of sight and gets spotted when he hits the 50m auto-detect radius. Working just fine there.

In the second video, view range is cut in half on extreme weather variants making camouflage values incredibly important. The Stage 2 has fairly poor camo values while what appeared to be mediums shooting at you (at least one was as it was a STB-1 that hit your tracks) have decent to good camouflage values. Again, working as intended.

Unless I am missing something, there are no issues with how the spotting mechanics are currently working as this is how they are supposed to work.

Look at the radar on the first video 3 heavy tanks overlooking the t10 0 spot the tanks i spot and my binos were on yet even though i am higher than the buildings i can spot any of those tanks?.

The second one the heavy tank infront and me spotted 0 tanks i get spotted they don't then i lose 900 damage like i am butter when i am finally out of danger i use my radio fire a shot then beep beep im detected no one else.

Towards the end my entire team runs away as invisible tanks with 3x the spotting slaughter all i get the weather crap but come one i was the only one that was actually getting spotted/shot at.

Not seeing anything wrong either. All looks to be working correctly in the videos.

Adding to this, mediums get 55% view range and light tanks get 60% view range. This and the camo values it's very easy to see why it's not detecting. I've had moments of sitting in a field of a storm map in a 30 B or light literally within 100 meters of a TD that can't see me due to various stuff. Those maps are awful for anything that isn't a light/medium or stealthy.

You are correct. I actually forgot about that change for Extreme Weather variants.

Sell the FV 4005... WoT is currently a kingdom for light and medium tanks … Forget the super heavy tanks and the TD's ... The TD's are currently the blindest tanks in the game...

Second vid - you are unspotted, fire, get spotted, then die.

I see a tank with a loooooong reload get caught on a flank by itself in the first video. Spotting seems to be fine as the buildings and hills were providing cover for them and you until they ran into your sight line over the buildings. Proxy spot the T-10. Your reload and being alone got you killed.

Popadom town is just too cluttered so you won’t spot anything until pretty much proximity range. Second is extreme weather maps, half your view range and makes the game near unplayable in large vehicles.

(And yes i do need a new banner i can't be bothered to change it yet)
