I have been grinding the Japanese mediums on and off for a while now, I enjoyed the Chi nu but found the chi to quite underwhelming. I unlocked the Chi ri and instantly disliked it, the tank didn't make sense it is slow but has no armour, it's too big for ridgelines and too slow to get to a good flank, the gun is far too inaccurate for sniping so I just hang around the heavies hoping my gun can do some work.

Anyway last night streaming away someone suggested using the autoloader, I was a little sceptical but thought sod it go on then let's try it. Oh how my eyes were opened to what a wonderful tank it is!. With my current set up the reload is 7.91 seconds, 7.91 seconds! That's faster than a 105mm cent 7/1 and you get three rounds to play with instead of one, I now feel I owe Godzilla and all the other Japanese spirits an apology for berating this tank so much. I can see this being a keeper and the grind just got a little easier to deal with.

A little randon I know, but I'm just so happy with it I had to post something.

The Chi Ri gets a lot of hate, but I clicked with it. Wait until the red guy is distracted, pop him with 3 shells, and go hide. Rinse, repeat.

I love the Chi-Ri. Fun tank with the 3 burst autoloader.

Until I put that auoloader on I just didn't get it at all. It's definitely a keeper now

Do you want to be good at this game?  Then learn to Chi Ri.  The Chi Ri teaches the two most important lessons in the game:

1.  how to protect yourself in a tank with no defensive options.  Chi Ri needs cover and teammates to eat shots.

2.  How to keep up a high rate of fire.  Chi Ri teaches that precise aiming is counter productive and the most important thing is to keep shooting.

When I started the Chi Ri I was a green potatoe.  When I finished I was putting up purple recents in everything and never looked back.

I'm not stealing kills, I'm handing out Confederate medals.

Ya its great in that aspect of only engaging already engaged reds, but the reds realize real fast who the real threat is after you pop them with a 2nd clip.

It can be quite fun.  I have it now.  The key is to ignore the fact that it is considered a medium.  This is a follow the group kind of tank even if it is a lemming train.  And key is "follow" because you don't want to reach the destination first.  Overextending is an instant death sentence.

But if you can be patient, you can rip through tanks quite quickly.  It is also an Ace Badge generator if you like the feeling of the big M on the screen.

Honestly the Chi-Ri with autoloader is the only tank in the whole line I’ve genuinely enjoyed.
