I wouldn't mind some help in learning more from the best, I have to admit no one taught me a thing about how to play the right way. It was kind of frustrating when you first start and all you are is cannon fodder for the vets and the better players.

This idea looks like it will work, until then you can contact halopro, he holds regular sessions now.

Good luck guys.

Its a good idea so I hope it works out.

Just be sure you guys know what the "trainees" want help with and try to be flexible around that.

Hate for it to fail due to loss of interest.

Good point.  We do need to make sure the coaches can evaluate the needs of.the players on their team.  I am confidant that can be accomplished.

Is there going to be novice, intermediate and advanced courses? Some people will catch on faster than others.

Is there going to be a dedicated OP4 for real time training? Would love to be in that.

People react differently in controlled environments so an OP4 could benefit. That’s how real tankers train.

Anyway, just a couple questions.

Thanks

We have volunteered as the Op For we have 6 from PCP so far. Glad to work with you if you want to be the "bad guys" lol

If you are over 25 years old, play on the XBox, and are tired of running solo in MP games, you are welcome to stop by and check out Pork Chop Platoon - an over 25 XBox only community. www.porkchopplatoon.com

To start we are targeting new players, but we are happy to grow it.  As far as an op4, they can be useful, or my original idea was to have some practice scrimmages with the other teams.

Sorry I may have missed the opfor part. I will go back and catch up lol

Woild gladly work with everyone to be the bad guy. I’m sure there will be some kind of control so as not to get too carried away and cause more frustration.

OP4 doesn't always have to be an attacking team. You could used them for positioning demonstrations or target practice on moving targets for example. Would be very helpful to see what is required to lead a moving target. I could see lots of helpful things that could be done with a opposing force situation. OP4 could maybe even use sextons on the trainees so they learn arty smarts lol :arta: Wont hurt Vs too much.

There is a lot of work to do and we are very much in the beginning phases.  Anyone with good ideas keep them coming.  Your idea may very well be a part of the program.

I ask the the trainees what they want to start with and answer any questions they have along the way.

First training room lessons were recorded on my stream today ;)

I am.assuming when it gets to league games we will use the clan 7v7 format and the same maps?  All of that is already worked out and would save us time.  Plus it segues to clan tournaments.  Anyone who wants to move up the competition chain would already be familiar with the rules and play.

One of my buddies messaged me earlier and has shown an interest, he doesn't think his skill level is good enough to teach, even though he has a good grasp of the game mechanics and tactics. I jokingly said he could be a target. With what I clearly missed earlier, I think he might be interested in participating in an opfor role, pretty sure he'd also like to take part in lessons as well.

I've already sent him the link for this thread and hopefully he'll make an appearance in here soon, he is on vacation though, so he may wait till he gets back.

Hull down always wished I had learned that correctly early on.

Reading the map so you can start to feel how the shape of the battle is going and situational awareness also.

Field positions and tank roles

Communication

Ammo how to use it when to use it

I could think of more I am sure

For sure! and in this,

those clans with trainees interested in comp play, they will find the competitive leagues will work great as a recruiting tool for comp clans that participate ;)

Sorry thought of one more

For the love of God don't drive infront of your teammate who is actively shooting at an enemy. Good lesson to learn early.
