For the love of God don't drive infront of your teammate who is actively shooting at an enemy. Good lesson to learn early.

yes I don’t know how many times this happened to me today. In one game it costed me two extra kills, only allowing me to get 6 kills

I'll take this down and begin adding it to the training program.

Message me on Xbox if you need someone to be the enemy or whatever in the training lessons  If im not at work I’m usually on my Xbox and definitely will be on a lot until I get the King Tiger. But I would be more than happy to help out when needed

I ask the the trainees what they want to start with and answer any questions they have along the way.

First training room lessons were recorded on my stream today ;)

I was watching a bit of that while cooking dinner. Seemed to be going fairly well, though I think having a headset should perhaps be a requirement. It's difficult to instruct someone who can't actively communicate that they fully understand what is being taught. Not specifically tonight,  just a general thought. Perhaps run some demonstrations structured differently so as not to completely exclude the mic-impaired or perhaps less socially confident.

Would it be ok to add you on live, I could be of use as a demonstration tool, I'm quite happy to get shot up in the pursuit of improving others.

My biggest gripe is, learn how to eff'n drive!!! I mean damn...why is this so hard. So annoying getting cut off and spun around in a light tank, or cut off when they could have easily went behind you.

So give drivers ed lessons please.

Of course add me

headsets help tons

I too need a headset :(

I'm running a bare bones setup using my Kinect mic and camera atm.

I have an original X1 controller that doesn't match the newer headset 3.5mm plugs and down here in Costa Rica anything gaming related comes with a hefty tax :(

Stats, plural, yes. Just not only WN8.

If I want to quickly evaluate a player, I look at winrate, number of games, most played and most successful tanks, damage and kill ratios, and yes, WN8.

Sorry but it isn't wright if u look at how much games a player have!

So i dont have lot of battles but i think i know much more about this game like lot of others cause i was playing WoT for 4 years on PC.

U can use WN8. But only the WN8 from tanks and not from the player because i think much high WN8 players do sealclubbing with tier 1 to 5.

If I do nothing else, I can drive when leaving spawn. It's once I get around water and bridges that the problems start :D

That is frustrating. I don't mind if they at least damage an enemy, however alot of the time they get in the way, sit there for a bit, don't fire or miss a shot if they do, then blow up, blocking a vital spot. See alot of people do that. It's made worse when you're in a tank like an E4, and they are blocking you with a stock Centurion. 1 of those tanks is very useful on the front, the other isn't.

Positioning is probably one of the harder things to learn (not aiming the next bit at you, just in general) . When a game starts, there are always certain parts of the map that are favourable, but even those vary depending on your tank, tier match up, and which tanks greens and reds have (arty can have a big effect).

However there's alot more to it, as you have to adapt as the battle progresses to make sure you always have an advantage over any enemy you meet. Teaching people how to do that will be one of the tougher lessons, as people can get used to just following, but when it comes down to doing it themselves they can get a bit confused.

Once a player cracks it though, their skill level jumps up a considerable amount.

Got them on my private message.  We should certainly create assistance communities for players.  Maybe even have permanent "Tank Assistance Clans" and stream assistance/lesson sessions in our official twitch channel.

Removing silver costs from training rooms would be a huge help. Any chance of it?

Are you going to make a section on the Discord so all mentors and participants can get to gather to organise as well as using the official forum ? this will help to get information across as it is an app for mobile so easier for all to access.

Sorry if this has been brought up here already, dang this thread has gotten huge, but I have a friend that recently started tanking. I've offered to run some low tiers with him, but he seems reluctant to do so. Could a veteran kinda sponsor a new player, and company them to training? Maybe be their meatball to shoot at or something?

This is a great idea, and I would love to help any way I can.

I've discussed this with Max already. They think that if there is no cost to training rooms, players will "abuse" it going on with full premium load outs.

To a degree I understand and agree with the mind set, but how long would it take before players get board of not making silver or xp?

That is something I believe that has been discussed. Getting newer players in a room and showing them weak spots  leading shots on moving targets, other aspects of shooting.
