Hello,

Yesterday there was a pretty strange player on my team, a recent 94-day account with 480 battles and an impressive number of top tiers tanks.

But that's not all, it was extraordinary nullity and fired a single shot... against a green teammate.

I don't know if I can publish the account name here and the video of the replay.

Perhaps a mod will shed some light on this account.

This forum needs the Fake Marine

Probably a press account or a demo account from an event or something.

The 13. (Tiger) Kompanie, of Panzer Regiment Großdeutschland, reported on the performance of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56, when their Tigers engaged the T-34: "First round hits were usually achieved at ranges between 800 to 1,000 meters. At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

3 MoE tanks: T-34, Pz IVH, Tiger I, Pz.Kpfw. T 25

You'll need to look at the profile pretty closely, but if it has loads of tier x's I'd guess it is a press account (as Brogue noted) and it was being demo'd by WG staff somewhere.

I used to dig in my mom’s purse for quarters to play Space Invaders and Missile Command.  That was how I learned the definition of  “proportional”.  The depth of dad’s boot in my rear was directly proportional to the depth I dug in her purse......

Ah the good 'ole days of actually looking forward to going to the mall because of the arcade.  My dad went all out and got me the Atari 2600 and a game simply called "Tank".  Needless to say Game titles seem to have come just as far as the graphics since then.

Indeed, this corresponds to the name of the account that I must be able to name since it does not represent a natural person.

It's WoTC_demo_01 but I don't understand why the account is used to rot tiers 10 games with an FV4005 instead of playing in the sandbox or war stories. It was particularly bad and very confusing for the team because the tank was even worse than a War Stories green AI. o_0

It’s not something that happens all the time....... if WoT Demo accounts were a problem we’d hear about it more often here in the forums.  The occasional scrub-tato derping in a Tier X with his head firmly planted below his tailpipe ain’t nothing new! Lol!

Besides, the whole purpose of a “demo” is to let (potentially)new players experience the full game without giving them a sanitized and curated environment...... side note to that: they’ll have a couple dozen demo stations next month for the player gathering at Cantigny Park.... I can guarantee that a few of our Unicum players are gonna make those demo accounts look a lot less stupid!

You're right, I reacted because I was disappointed but there's no reason to make such a big deal out of it.
