You guys came through for me when you turned me on to the T67. Just wondering if I step to VI what you would recommend?

Depends on your play style.  If you like turrets Hellcat is an Easy call.  I have played them all and marked several of them but I really like the Nashprn and SU 100.  If you do Merc contracts the Plaguebringer has a turret and is similar play to the Hellcat.

What etzi0 said and I heard good things about JgdPz IV...I liked Su-100 but mostly because of huge alpha at tier VI...I'm not saying it's the best TD at tier VI.

The 13. (Tiger) Kompanie, of Panzer Regiment Großdeutschland, reported on the performance of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56, when their Tigers engaged the T-34: "First round hits were usually achieved at ranges between 800 to 1,000 meters. At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

3 MoE tanks: T-34, Pz IVH, Tiger I, Pz.Kpfw. T 25, M7, T-50

J pz 1v is superb over distances and good cammo and stealth. Hellcat is good specially if you need to get somewhere quick. The plaguebringer (if you are into the grind lo) I really like. SU100 with H.E. is just the business though some tanks are best played in platoon and this is one of them. Iv got them all  :BThe nashorn is too easily spotted i find and too easy to kill. the rest i find are not up to the job. Especially the joke tree (chinese td s)

Everyone is posting up good suggestions here, I went straight to the Hellcat because it's similar to T67 in play style.... snipe-scoot-wash-rinse-repeat.

Both tanks have turrets, both are fast, fairly decent guns that can pen tanks 2 tiers up, and they both have for crap armor. Keep the auto fire extinguisher and one small med kit because open turret=dead crew members.

On a side note I do have a Steel Wall with the Hellcat, go figure.

Really depends on personal preference in regards to Turreted or Turret-less.

Turreted : Hellcat

Turret-less : Jagdpanzer IV

Seeing the op likes the T67, his safest bet is probably Hellcat. Forget circle strafing like T67 does though.

JP IV has highest camo and dpm in Tier VI, paired with good alpha, ok accuracy, mediocre mobility and some armor.

Hellcat and SU-100 are very good, too.

I have all the turreted TD's at tier six. My Hellcat is the most fun and hard hitting. Gemini Rogues have a series on this, "Top 5 Tier VI Tank Destroyers," that is educational. They rank the M36 Jackson above the M18 Hellcat for a couple reasons (better armor, ammo count), and the Nashorn at #1. Another consideration is the Achilles in the British TT. Good mobility (better than the Jackson), high rate of fire, excellent accuracy and penetration, but lower damage, and the gun depression can be troublesome. Either way, even when bottom tier, these three can hold their own.

The tank doesn't make the tanker, but the tanker makes the tank good. Save that bit of advice for a rainy day.:sceptic:

SU-100 is such an awesome tank, enough penetration, 390 alpha, very good camo rating and very mobil.

Does anyone prefer turret-less to turreted? Isn't turretless always a disadvantage? Think I'll go to the Hellcat.
