Yes we do!

Some forumers are not happy about tomorrow and for good reason, I would be bent if my favorite tank was getting a nerf. But it's not, it's getting a doozy of a buff. And while I have zero interest in mercs, the update gave us South African accents. And my little boeremeisie has been whispering sweet nothings in my ear all evening telling me what she's going to do with her extra ponies and turret armor. I'm sorry to say, for many of you it will not be pretty.

As consolation, a safe space has been provided. Extra ponies for everyone! *

*If my overwhelming feeling of joy surrounding tomorrow's update is bumming you out, please let another 4.6 update thread know about your feelz. This one's for warm fuzzies. If you got 'em, feel free to share.

I'm with you. There were many frustrating and seemingly nonsensical changes in those leaked patch notes but I've been waiting a long time for the Prius to have a usable turret.

Big, bad, and average.

The FV4202p still needs buffs

 Screw my elders!!!!

World of Tanks a game where it's 1 versus 29. 15 reds trying to kill you and 14 greens trying to support them. The yellows are your only hope. For signature and stats visit http://wotinfo.net/en/player-stats

2 & 3 MoEs

Definitely a much needed Fv4202p thread.

Now we've just got to get her big sister back at tier X...

I'll start a thread later...

I'm glad the 4202 is getting a buff the pmp needs it they could convert the b barrel to a 105 lite like the king dragon have it as an option.

^ An option would be good, but I've really come to appreciate the 20-pounder. Extra alpha would be nice but wouldn't want to take .36 accuracy as a compromise.

Ideally they would do something with the Chief's ground resistance and give it a reverse speed buff of +3-5kph. I think that would cure a lot of the 4202 X blues without the risk of creating a franken monster or an OP Mk.6.

So Update 4.6 was basically everything a 4202P lover could have [reasonably] asked for. Aim-time is still a burden, but that's really the only shortcoming left with the tank.

The new turret armor is very usable as long as you adhere to the horizontal angling rule. For best results you want to fight from the high ground, if being fired down upon your armor will lose it's slope advantage and be about as good as a wet paper bag. This could mean being on level ground, but using the undulations to simulate elevation advantage.

A 4202P bounces 4300 damage and I gots da proof. That's more than 3X her total hit points!

As for the new engine, she accelerates well off the line and can hold speed up inclines. I can help push fellow teammates up climbs and actually make a difference in our ascension speed. I played the first several games with the 105 Octane and holy cow she hauls [edited]! (~17hp/t). Like the tier X 4202, but with a 50kph cap. This is largely due to her amazing ground resistance, and she's also 2,500kg lighter than the standard Centurion models. 650hp 4202P (15.6hp/t) + low ground resistance > 750hp Atomic (16.7hp/t). I'm back to Med Kits now in lieu of high octane now as she still suffers injured crew a lot if played aggressively.

Still somewhat of a high skill ceiling tank and kid gloves will bring the best results, but now with greater mobility and bouncing potential than many of her peers she's really come in to her own. Good luck in your 4202's everyone, hope she treats you as well as she treats me.
