I had one crate left to retrieve on my mission. Finally noticed it went in the water. I went in and drowned. Lol. I'm guessing this was a lose-lose situation, but how could this have been a win?

If it’s close to edge. Maybe try pushing an ally in the drink. If he hits it. You still get it I think.

I may be wrong (usually am), but I think there's an extra crate - so you can miss one and still win.

That said, I like pilotguy79's solution above :-D

Question. What's an Art crate?

Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm

In this story, they're trying to retrieve art that's been stolen during the war. When you destroy certain tanks, it leaves a crate hanging in the air over the tank and you have to collect them all to finish the story.

Ah right, it's in War stores? Dunno if I did that one.

Thanks LT.

I can confirm that. The first two are mandatory two unlock the second part of the mission and you can't miss them, then you get the other six destroying the enemy tanks, and since there are 7 tanks in the city, one is extra :)

Beside, you don't actually have to run through them to pick them up, you just have to get quite close: once I was in my AMX 13 75 and one of the crates spawned right on top of a Vk 36.01, too heavy for me to move, but I still picked the crate once I drove close to it (without actually touching the wreck). So if the crate spawns on water, you still might be able to pick it up if it's close enough to the edge,

If I remember tonight I'd like to test Pilotguy79's theory and see if crates can be picked up by your allies. I think it's a good War Story and one of the few suitable for light tanks :child:

Get your crew to take their kit off and swim, that's a fortune in artwork sitting out there!
