Should a KV5 be allowed to platoon with RHM.-B. WT?

It's no skin off my nose, but i thought platoon selection was now strict?

It is strict but both are Tier 8 so it's -0/+0, i feel KV-5 and other PMM should be a Tier 7 but unlikely to happen, i know they're rounded to 7.5 though.

certainly the issue of PPM tanks and Tier IX platooning with Tier X tanks needs to addressed. It was a minor issue though compared to what was happening with truly "fail" platoons.

Thought would be a simple solution, drop all said tanks that get PMM one tier and just do away with PMM all together.  Yes, I am ducking again.. :hiding:

So, I wonder what the reasoning was behind making tanks that get PMM anyways..... was it simply to provide a "pay to advance quicker" format? Or create a opportunity for the below average/ability player to run a tank in certain situations where they just smash through the red tanks. I mean, a lot of WG's advertising for some preimium tanks seems to indicate to the un-informed buyer that said tank can "Smash" through the enemy tanks.

The reasoning behind PMM is to make tanks with low pen guns viable.  PC is experimenting with buffing all PMM tanks to make them competitive with normal MM.

What really needs to happen is WG needs to code tanks with PMM in a special tier category of their own for platoon compatibility.

Pz.I and T7 would be tier 2p (2 preferred) instead of simply tier 2.
T-127, etc would be 3p
Tier 4 heavies would be 4p
Pz.B2 would be 4xp (extra-preferred)
etc, etc.

They do need to make the T2 Light normal tier 2, the snakebite and t-50-2 tier 7p, and the Lycan tier 8p to make them work with the new system as well.

If you want to be one of the 47 Ronin check out our recruitment post and then send a message to Prof935 (xbox) or dimka935 (ps4).

Originally when premium tanks were created(on PC way before Console was a thing) they were intended to be better than stock but worse than fully upgraded. PMM was made to give these tanks a bit of a redeeming quality and make them easier/ more enjoyable to play.
