The big map

Currently all of the of the maps are static in general geography, size and certain properties like distance apart between ridges and bushes for sniping positions and other factors that become all to mundane after playing the maps several times. After a while the maps are taken down and tweaked with more boulders, buildings, burms, bunnies, pill boxes, and bumps which IMHO makes the maps worse. 

 

What I would like to see is just one big map of maybe a few miles in both dimensions, but when the game starts a much smaller section of the big map is randomly chosen both in location, size and shape so that while in general we may learn the big map, with the randomness of each match the players will have to evaluate the layout of the current positions within the given map to figure out how to best utilize the terrain features, strategy, etc. With regards to shape, the maps would not only be square or rectangular, but could be circular, triangle, L  or T shaped for encounter battle, be like a doughnut with a hole in the middle, think lake, or even have alien transport spots and multilevel garages where you could shot out support columns and the enemy above falls down onto your level. :B
