I’m on last stage of the contract and i’ve Seen a few kicking about. They seem to do ok. New tanks can take a bit of play to get a feel for them.

Just wondering if any formers have had a fair chance to play them and what are your thoughts.

Just got mine late last night. Too soon for a definitive assessment but I think it's pretty decent, and I dumped the Sharpshooter bogus contract and found the Longreach reasonable and relaxing in comparison.

Im on stage 7 at the moment.

I dropped the Tusk at stage 8, cuz it was too much like work.

Im hoping the Reach will be fun. I did enjoy the KV85 with the 122, so im thinking this will be much the same.

Literally played 1 match in it since getting it and I like it.

The longer reload is a drawback, but if you are generally experienced at mitigating the reload of the KV-85’s 122mm gun, you should do just fine.  I find the VK 36.01’s hull armor to be more reliable than the KV-85’s and with the Reach’s side skirts, you should be able to reliably side-scrape with it.

I kicked out The shaSharpshooter Contract and start The REACH Contract.... I never regret! REACH Is a tier VI with 40 defense! And am Easy contract to make!

It's like a slightly worse KV-85, without the option of a 100 mm gun.

The gun is really fun.  It hits so hard that you will rack up the kills.  Your hit to kill ratio will be really good.  Only have 3 battles so way to early to conclude but I do have 8 kills to death ratio.  Again the stats are not really meaningful but early play supports my observation that it so far has killed the crap out of the tanks I have attacked.

When a man with a .45 meets a man with a rifle, you said, the man with a pistol's a dead man. Let's see if that's true. Go ahead, load up and shoot.

It’s not a bad tank however the very low gun depression and the very very slow reverse speed will hurt you badly in battle. The gun hits very hard when it hits. But you have to look for positions that don’t require you to use any gun depression since you have only 3% and that really doesn’t cut it.

Gun barrel is KV-85's 122mm but hull body is VK36.01's one and not bad as KV-85's one. Depression is the same as KV-85 and worst of all heavies: 3 degrees.

Funny how so many of us have quit the Sharpshooter and Tusk contracts for one that doesn't require 90% of your time for several months... and luck... and you to use one or two tanks over and over (and over) again.

Hey WG, you might want to note that down somewhere - seems important.

I’m still enjoying the Tusk grind! It’s a perfect excuse to stop grinding tt tanks for a while :)

As a bonus, the more people quit, the less Tusks will be zipping around derping tanks :)

Looking for a clan and/or tankers to platoon with on the EU server. Msg on XBL if you need a light tanker on your crew.

It depends on the style of games, me it is the opposite. I prefer a shorter reloading with less damage. I am much more efficient with a Kraft panthere than with the Reach.

I use Google translator for english language

Lots of juggling in french text, sometimes translator in trouble with that. If you do not understand what I write, tell me.

Sold my reach today, the shortcomings of this tank are just not to my liking and was becoming way to irritating. So I instead sold it to focus on tanks I enjoy, Stubbs, threasher, plus others.

Gun depression is a real drag, but it's still a decent tank. Get the right map and it can a silly dominate a game.

I aim to misbehave
