I'm stuck.  Keep just getting close on the High caliber haven't even got around to spotting.  Using tier 5 and 6 german tanks heavies mainly.  Someone want to let me borrow their Panz IV/V.

I don't know the requirements, so I can't recommend anything.

I had to get a High Caliber with a scout, and used the AMX Chaffee.

You haven't had any of your team mates bump into you or shoot you during the game, have you?  That automatically negates you from getting the medal.

HIGH CALIBER

Cause the highest damage per battle without hitting/ramming a friendly vehicle. Damage must be at least 20% of the total HP of enemy vehicles. Caused damage should be at least 1,000 HP.

If I'm actively trying to get this medal for an Ops or Contract, I immediately move away from all my team mates at the outset and hang back a bit, so no one accidentally bumps into me or visa versa.  They really need to remove this requirement from the medal criteria.  Hope that helps.  Good hunting!

I keep telling it everywhere on this forum:

This "don't bump a teammate" requirement does NOT exist.

We've recorded videos in which we clearly ram allied tanks and still get High Caliber so don't worry about it.

This medal description is directly issued from PC where friendly fire exists and you can damage your teammates, it just has never been fixed.

yes  also i have post many videos but it doesn't interest nobody. It is a urban legend, the forum is full of false information, complain of players that don't manage their tank...

Interesting. So why don't you always get High Caliber, even if you fulfill the other requirements?

Hopeful a WG staffer will come along and confirm if hitting/bumping/shooting teammates negates High Caliber requirements. I know I've shot/bumped gReem tanks and still earnded the medal.

I mostly used the 'Flakbus' *PZ SFL IVc something* to grind the later stages of the Lawgiver contract. No problem to earn plenty of High Caliber Medals in that tank. In fact I got 17 out of 100 games and two-marked the bus during the grind. It's a real beast, why didn't I discover this TD earlier?

Edit: Looks like you don't have the Flakbus option atm. :(

Don't like TD's with the exception of the Hellcat which is just a fast scout with a big gun.  I think the 20% of op total hitpoints may be getting me I've had several games where I appeared to have the most damage and was first but didn't get it usually second place was just right below me in damage.  So you have to get the most damage and dominate your team and theirs.  I can't seem to do that that in tier 5, 6 mediums and heavys in the German line yet.  Just started seriously playing the german lines though and really like them.  Nice guns and decent speeds but [edited]for armor even in a heavy at lower tiers.  I need a lower tier Maus oh wait I forget I just need a fast overarmored tank like Panz IV/V.  If it ever goes on sale I may break my I don't pay for tanks rule ... just wait I will buy it and they will finally nerf it.

probably it is the 20% of op total hit points rule.  that's a lot it means you basically have to kill 3-5 tanks doing the majority of the damage on them.  if lights qualified my panz C would wrap this up in a couple of games even with the 1000 hp rule.

Provide video footage to support

I've provided video footage of bumps and tough collisions between teammates and still HC in the end.

The only unknown data remains "shooting a teammate"

The VK 36 is pretty decent, about 10% of my games earned me a High Caliber in that tank. I can also highly recommend the VK 30 M medium, but you would have to grind that one first. So just stick with the VK 36 H and you will get it sooner or later. Just stay calm when you're top tier. ;) Too bad Cromies are not eligible.

Re medal requirements: I just earned one in the Nashorn and definately bumped and shot two teammates. Maybe it's just the copy / paste PC story. It's also only mentioned in the english version of the requirement, neither the french nor the german version talk about crashing into friendly tanks negating the medal.

I paid to skip Stage Five and the HC medal, but as far as the spotting your health requirement,  try a British medium like the Firefly or the Boilermaker with a set of binocs.  It's a little dependent on map and the number of competent lights on your team, but pretty doable.

Alternatively, use any light but don't run off way ahead of the team. Stay within a klik or so and stick around so your teammates actually hit the reds you light up!

I had put in a support ticket for HC about the bumping.  I was told that condition was removed.  The likely reason is you are not damaging 20% of the other team hitpoints.
