Hello, I got the Pz V/M10 and I noticed it got some extra spaced armor on the front, sides and turret. The gun is not the long 7,5 but it looks like it's good enough.

I wonder if the V/M10 is better then the Revenant and the TT Panther, because I don't own those yet.

I have the champion version, it's better. More mobile, less penetration but faster firing.

It also gets Pmm so you never fight 9's

YES, yes it is.

The warlord is also a better version than either the Krap Panther or the TT version - has the top  Panther engine and almost the same gun as the Pz V/M10 ( but with worse gun handling), and never sees tier 9

Beware the Banshee Comet! According to Irish folklore, a Banshee is a ghost-like creature that wails (keens) to warn you of your impending death. However on the battlefield, the last screams you hear will be your own!

NOTE - I am taking a temporary leave from playing World of Tanks due to certain family obligations. I hope to see many of you back out in battle soon!

I have the Pz V/M10  for about a month now and before that I had the Krafts and the vk 3002m and I know the panther plays similar to 3002m same gun nearly.  I find the PZ V/M10 is my best tank of the 3.  I got a average damage of almost 1700 a game in this beast with 3002m actually close and krafts last lol.  I would never sell the m10, it is a amazing tank and with chocolate and equipment, it chews through heavies rear ends before they know what the hell just happened.  It and the t23e3 are the best two tier 7 mediums in the game.  The t23e3 I think being slightly behind the m10 due to lower damage, but faster reload, but I think the higher damage on the m10 makes it far superior in combination to the armor it has.

Didn't knew the M10 had so many fans. I read some bad things about in the past...Worst tier VII enz....

The Champion is even better? Or is it just a reskin?

The champion is just a reskin, but it's a dual crew trainer which is nice.

The PZV/M10 used to be terrible, but multiple buffs have made it the best panther available.

Champion is a reskin.  It(both Pz/M10 versions)also used to be worse.  It got a substantial buff back in 3.somethingorother and it made it a viable and competitive machine(both versions).  In a top tier game it’s not uncommon to dump 3k damage with a Steel Wall and a Top Gun and still only make 2nd Class Mastery!

I do quite dislike the Krappanther, but enjoy the fully upgraded TT version.

I think Comet could object that claim.

The 13. (Tiger) Kompanie, of Panzer Regiment Großdeutschland, reported on the performance of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56, when their Tigers engaged the T-34: "First round hits were usually achieved at ranges between 800 to 1,000 meters. At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

3 MoE tanks: T-34, Pz IVH, Tiger I, Pz.Kpfw. T 25

Yeah, like over a year ago! Lol! I think they buffed it about 3-6mos after the Champion released. Pretty sure it got a buff to mobility, view range, AND the gun!

Great gun relative to tier. Fast firing, relatively accurate, maneuverable. Champion is the same tank, just a dual training variant.

I took it out once a month ago. Didnt notice any changes, and then got stuck with heavy tanks for the reach and slapjack contracts. About to go back to the sta1 and panther II so I can move up those lines.

Yes it is definitly better than the Krafts Panther.

I made a thread long ago comparing Techtree Panther, Krafts Panther and M10/Champion and suggested some buffs because the Krafts is worse but plays up a tier higher.

Maybe the comparison answers your question why the Champion is better:

Ah, yeah.... small sample set, lol! To be fair though, the buffs themselves were small, but just enough to make it much more comfortable to play.  I hardly ever play mine either and I always get pleasantly surprised when I bust it out for an Op or something.

The buffed the rate of fire and gun handling significantly.

yeah most of the reasons that its better aside from its additional armor down the sides have been covered. you also remove the cupola from the tank so playing hills is a little more forgiving than the other panthers.

The Banshee Comet is the best tier vii medium in the game.... or at least my stats in it say so...lol!!!

Seriously though, the  Comet (and the Banshee), the T23e3, and the PzV/M10, are the three best tier 7 mediums in the game... at least in my opinion (which doenst matter much anyway).  I'll even throw in the Warlord becasue it is different enough that it has a different playstyle.

PMM makes the thing great. It’s basically a German Comet that doesn’t have to worry about tier IX foolishness.

I hope to one day be wealthy enough to be considered eccentric rather than just plain nuts.
