I received one in a war chest and am wondering what people are running on this for equipment and supplies?

I run v. stab, optics, and vents on mine. And since it has the premium silver bonus I also run tea&pudding, and full apcr. Though it's still a good tank without the tea or apcr.

I run rammer, vert stabs, and optics, 36 AP, 25 APCR, 0 HE

As far as I know, the Banshee is identically the same as its TT counterpart, BUT! with .2 better aim time.

Banshee is my favorite and best-played tank, by far. I've been consistently ranked in the top ten players across both consoles in the Banshee  so I believe I might know a little about this tank.....

I run it with: Rammer, Vents, Coated optics.

I also use food consumable.

The reasoning is this - you want to max out rate of fire (dpm), because the alpha is a bit low (140). Max dpm is over 2,700 (3.09s reload), and the quicker your reload the faster you're putting shells on your target.

In addition, The Banshee can be a very effective scout and/or sniper and therefore maxing view range is important.

I run mine with Large Repair Kit, 105 Octane, and Food. Even with both the octane and food (40,000 silver) I make money most games, but I wouldnt suggest that loadout unless you can consistently get at least 1,500 damage per game. Otherwise, swap octane for Large Repair kit.

Banshee works best with an experienced crew - at least 8-10 skills. Focus on camo and vision after you have sixth sense and brothers in arms.

The Banshee comet is a tank that is extremely versatile and can often carry a match, even when not top tier. Choose your map positioning and brawls carefully, and this tank will be an amazing addition to your garage.

And if anyone has any specific questions or needs tips on the Banshee (or Comet), just send me a message. I'm glad to help out a fellow player.

Beware the Banshee Comet! According to Irish folklore, a Banshee is a ghost-like creature that wails (keens) to warn you of your impending death. However on the battlefield, the last screams you hear will be your own!

NOTE - I am taking a temporary leave from playing World of Tanks due to certain family obligations. I hope to see many of you back out in battle soon!

I'll try your set up. Doubt i will run food as i'm not confident i can do 1500 damage per game. What skills/perks to run? I have a 6 skill crew i can put in it. BIA, SS and what else?

The thing to keep in mind about this tank is that it has a bonkers 60% silver bonus.  I generally run Large First Aid + Large Repair + Food as opposed to 2 x Large Repair or Large Repair + Octane + Food, but I can definitely see how the latter especially would pay off for a skilled player.

Absolutely run at least food, though.  You'll need to have a very bad game for it not to make silver.

I win this tank as well.

Didn’t know about silver bonus.

Time to put a crew in it.

I have mine set up exactly the same.  I am really close to getting my third mark on it now and it is without a doubt my favorite tank in the game.  Tier for tier it is one of the best tanks in the game if played correctly.

I wish I'd win a Banshee instead of the king Tiger. Definitely a purchase if it's on offer for black friday

For skills,  I'd suggest maxing vision and camo first.... one of the strong suits of the comet is it's fairly good camo & view range combo. Plus, in WoT, the ability to see or be seen is the single-most important thing that can be directly controlled by a player during a game. The reds cant target what they cant see, and the greens need targets to shoot at, so vision is king of the day.

After those, go for skills that suit your playstyle: off road driving and clutch braking if you want mobility; snap shot and smooth ride for gun handling; or go for some defense with repairs or safe stowage... all of these will help.

I'm using Simon Linnet (Snakebite skill) with 17 skills/perks in my Banshee, so I have a fairly decent setup, and it allows me to play more freely with no repair kit (Jack of All Trades & Adrenaline rush), and more fully utilize the potential of this tank.

Bumping this thread....thinking of trading my T34 for it.

I got tired of the original Comet.  But with a faster aim time and less ground resistance...I might give it a try....especially now that the crew that would go in it is a 10 skill crew that includes fire-fighting....so I have a slot to run either tea and pudding, or an extra repair kit or gas.

It is either this or the Black FV available....but I hear it isn't so good.

2 MOE's: Indien-Panzer (VIII), T-20 (VII), Cromwell B (VI), Snakebite (VI), T-37 (VI), M4 Sherman w/Derp (V), VK 16.02 Leopard (V)

You would probably be a lot happier using a Banshee/ Comet then the FV, and if you don't like driving the tank, then the extra bonuses it earns is pointless

Personally though, I would take the FV, I'm not selling my Comet any time soon!

I don't own the Banshee, but I hear it's very close to the TT Comet.

My ammo loadout on the Comet is 20/35/6; stabilizer, optics, rammer; small kits and octane. My crew knows 6S, BiA, gun skills, view skills, Controlled Impact, Repair and Camouflage.

Does this tank come with camo or do you need to apply the camo with extra gold?

The skin on this one counts as camo.

V stabs, Vents, Rammer.

Out shoot tier VIIs. Ruin Tier Vs & VIs for fun. Makes it much more fun at VIII and IX too as you can ping back shells much faster. Most players/potatoes will back up because of the RoF thinking you are more than one tank.

It's a really good tank.

Superior to it's TT counterpart in that it has better aim time and with the huge silver bonus you can run premium consumables, spam premium and still make silver.

Thanks for the info. I traded a useless Fatherland I won a while back and only had to pay 186 gold for the Banshee. Yet to take it out but looking forward to it.

Optics, Rammer, stabilizer

I got the Banshee last trade, kept the Fatherland though. Have only played 1 match in it(Banshee).

I run 50/50 ammo, no food or anything. Pretty much same as TT Comet.

Just played it tonight for the first time and have to agree with all the positive comments posted about it. I don’t have the Comet anymore but don’t remember it being this good to be fair. Optics, rammer and vents on mine with a 7 skill crew from my Atomic Cent, I don’t think you would be disappointed if you won it or bought it
