And this is the AMX 13-57 in what it does best: point blank ravager!

The video starts towards the end of the battle

So given the difference in my WN8 of more than 2400, less HP is good?

Who knew....

everybody isn't as good as you korben, you're well above the average player playing these tanks. lots of avg joes are going to do better in a tank with extra health, makes it more forgiving, they can make a mistake...give the avg Joe both tanks and most will perform better in the 1357.

I don't know about that I'm your avg joe and I do better in my Amx Chaffee 3300 wn8 than the 13-57 1500 wn8 though I do have a low amount of games in the 13-57.

maybe so, but you guys are the exception not the rule, 1357 is consistently winning more isn't it?

why do you guys think 1357 is outpacing chaffee? I think its extra hitpoints make it more forgiving for less than stellar players.

I have the HMH 13 57 and the Chaffee.  I feel that since they are the same tier now that the 290 less HP that the Chaffee is a big disadvantage.  In a tier 9 high match, most tier 9 will one shot a Chaffee.  Neither tank has armor to speak of, neither tank is good at circle of death, like other light tanks.  The biggest thing Chaffee has it can train US and French crew.  Chaffee has the HP of its origin tier 6 light tank, moved to tier 7 with no increase in stats, it still sees up to tier 9 like before, but will never see tier 4s like before.  Since WoT Console uses win rate to judge a tanks performance, I want to know about its win rate being moved to tier 7.

Both tanks can cod just fine as long as you pick slower enemy tanks your going to take on and the Amx Chaffee now can be top tier now in tier VII games and can be a beast in those games.

Nothing funnier than seeing the 57 roll up on you when in the Lycan, watch them auto aim and miss a couple, bounce a couple and then laugh when your first shot tracks them the next wrecks the engine and they sit there whilst you pump another 3 or 4 into them for the kill.

If a guy rush a Lycan in a 57, it is a complete idiot and diserve to be destroyed anyway.

they have to reload sometime...but ya, lead shots, auto aiming lights on the move is pretty useless unless you've already got em by the tail.

I like the 13-57 a lot more then the Amx Chaffee, it's just a lot more fun and not as boring as the Chaffee. I run the V-Stab and EGLD combo on the 13-57 and it works like a charm when fast firing.

I’m starting to get better with the 13 57 but I still prefer the versatility of the lycan and AMX Chaffee.

I have about 25 battles in each of those tanks over the past 60 days:

AMX 13-57 64% win rate with 1020+k damage per battle

AMX Chaffee 60% win rate with 870+ damage per battle

Small sample size, will keep track of it for a while and see if this changes much.

Fun tank, but slow as hell and frontal hits set you on fire. I have made "strafing runs" on lone tigers and it was a LOT of fun. Until I hit a rock, flipped and then died because the repair wheel would not let me fix a broken module.
“Greatness is a transitory experience. It is never consistent. It depends in part upon the myth-making imagination of humankind. The person who experiences greatness must have a feeling for the myth he is in. He must reflect what is projected upon him. And he must have a strong sense of the sardonic. This is what uncouples him from belief in his own pretensions. The sardonic is all that permits him to move within himself. Without this quality, even occasional greatness will destroy a man.”

The repair wheel works, but not all the times. This is what I don't understand;

Press X, select the module by moving the stick towards the slot, and it should stay selected, release the X button (for PS4) to apply. Only at times, the module does not stay selected. I am wondering if this is something happening at client level, or at server level, e.g. the reason why selection is improbable at times?

Anybody knows?

Any idea?

I have carried out some testing lately, and I identified another issue. I do not know if it is a bug, or if it is coded this way.

The selection should only be enabled on the modules that can be repaired, not those that are undamaged. This would certainly alleviate the selection process, even if getting the selection to stick seems to be hit or miss. If the process only lives on the client, it should be straight forward. Since it does not work systematically, there may be more than what we know.

It almost seems like the HMH13-57 received a stealth buff.  My last 5 games have had between 1,100 and 1,600 base damage, not combined.  WN8 over 5,300 the last game.  When I first got it I stopped playing and put it in the barn dead red.....Either that or I have come to terms with the mobility limits and playing more cautious is the way to go.
