Amx50B - pro: Speed

Con: huge, no armor, no camo, horrible gun.                          handling

BatChat - pro: speed (driving straight), camo

Con: Jupiter's turning circle, horrible gun.                                handling, low ammo, no armor

Amx30B - pro: none since nerfed to crap

Only halfway decent are The Foch B Package and maybe the Arty.

I am unable to verify the 50B, B/C 25t and 30B because I have not played them.

I agree with you Arty wise. A lot of the Artillery are often, not exclusively, French.

You're crazy if you don't think the bat chat is crazy broken and the AMX 50B is an awesome tank. The gun on the bat chat is not bad at all and it has 1950 clip potential LUL. The AMX 50B is a strong support tank and a great sniper

French tanks in general trade armor for speed and autoloaders or dpm.  Tanks like that have a very high skill ceiling but a very low floor.  You have to be good to play French tanks.

I'm not stealing kills, I'm handing out Confederate medals.

How can you forget the best performing T10 French tank in the entire French Tech Tree: AMX 13 105???

I love my AMX 50B when it behaves, the tier 9 arty I found to be better than the tier 10. Love both versions of the Foch at tier 10

Nope. The tier 10 french medium is one of if not the best tier 10 mediums, and the tier 10 arty is probably the 2nd best arty right behind the cgc.

The heavies and tds are pretty meh however.

I completely fail to understand why tanks can be branded "bad". Fundamentally, some tanks require specific gameplay, to account for some of their tactical specifications. That does not make them "bad".

Obviously, the 101 WoT player favors the tanks that require the least effort to achieve a lot of damage. And if it is what you are seeking for in the game, then be it.

Personally, I have chosen a line of tanks, and my interest, is to try to make the tanks "good" by adapting, learning to play them successfully. Yes, it is correct to state that many of the French heavy tanks have not as much armor as other nation's heavies.

Historically, this was a choice the French made, when after a series a test, they realized not matter the thickness, armor will never prevent projectiles to penetrate it.

A lot of the French tanks are fun to play, even if not outwardly "easy".  That's what's important in my humble opinion.

I have the 50b, BC 25t, 30b, and 13 105 all with 3 MoE and the Foch 155 with 2 MoE. I can assuredly tell you that tier 10 French tanks only suck if you do.

More insightful commentary of the 30B based on plenty of pre and post-update field testing I gather.

@electronaut1976, I'm sorry I don't agree..
∆ The Bat.Chatillon 25 tonnes is a great tank if you know how to play it : load your clip on a tank, fall back and reload.
∆ AMX 50B same thing..
∆ AMX13 105 is a Bat.Chat.25T but with better scout ability but less combat capacity.
∆ AMX30 B is tricky to play ! But play it as a support tank.
∆ AMX50 Foch (120mm) is a Waffëntragger auf E.100 with armour.
∆ Bat.Chatillon.155 58 is the only artillery with an autoloader !
However none of these tanks have decent armour..

French tank design in real life and ingame have good mobility at the cost of armour, also most higher tier French tanks have autoloaders, so this nation is not for everyone.

I love my bat chat.  Just got the 30B so I’m not sure but I think overall the French tanks among the best in the game.

bat-chat's gun is too unreliable for me, probably just bad RNG but, the 30B went from being a well balanced tank so a piece of crap at tier 10, they are better off taking 300 hit points off it and making it a tier 9 in the state it's in now

6s between shots make the arty effectively neutered, because you’re not capable of shotgunning people when your team leaves ou exposed.

If the green team "helps" me much more, I'll need friendly fire turned back on to defend myself.
