What is the single most important skill/perk you would train your crews to achieve, if you were only allowed that one; that perk/skill would be used for all your tank commanders every tank you own.

Same question, but now the limit is four; what would you choose that would need to be usable on each and every tank you possess.

Camouflage is not really usable universally. It would probably work on some of your tanks, but be wasted on all the others.

What kind of tanks does need view range, but not camouflage?

Would you not prefer to have a proactive perk/skill, rather than a reactive one? if you embark two small repair kits, or one large and one small, you could possibly trade repairs? no?

Maybe the ideal four are:

Sixth Sense, Brother in Arms, Camouflage, Situational Awareness.

I think vision is one of the most important component, and staying out of arms way another. Camouflage does not really work well on certain tanks, but Situational Awareness works for everything.

I would be tempted to replace Camouflage with Reckon, to have maybe a little bit more of an homogeneous crew, that would work perfectly on absolutely each and every tank.

Ideal all machine crew SS,BiA,SA,Reckon? Thoughts?

I think heavies would benefit more with view range than camouflage, I haven't really been working on lights yet but from what I seen in game camo does not seem important to them where as a little more view range would help more.

Camouflage is much more effective for scouts than both view skills combined, much less one.

But I guess if you only play heavies it might look differently.

6th Sense.  The rest depend on the tank and how I plan to use the crew in it.

yeah I see your point. And I already carry 2 repair kits on most of my tanks. So probably would switch it out for something else.

Well, it's class sensitive, the 4 perks I would want on my light tank wouldn't be the same 4 I would put in a heavy.

So, to at least answer the 1st question... it would be Sixth Sense.

Well, of course, that's why the question is not trivially easy to answer.

It would depend on tank style, play style, and what tiers we are talking.

Since I play mostly lights and fast mediums that act like scouts...6th sense and Camo are #1 and #2 for me.   I usually add repairs and BIA as my top 4.

WG really changed (lowered) the value of 6th sense awhile back.....they could easily make 6th sense more valuable again by making you aware that ARTY is aimed in on you.

As I've progressed from scouts to fast mediums, one item that I have started adding is silent driving.  I used to add sit aware 5th, then off-road driving 6th.  But silent driving may be more effective than either of those.

When you play fast tanks without a lot of armor.....stealth is your friend.

Though, the more I think about it, and given the new norm yolo light play style, I might have to rig up my heavies as if they where scout tanks. One of the best scouting/assisted damage games I ever had was in my T 29 on Prok... go figure.
