Hello Everyone,

On December 16th 1944 the Battle of the Bulge began. It was a last gasp effort & last major offensive  on the Western Front by Germany during WWII. I have found a few links to share below. I started playing WoT-C mainly because of the historical aspect of the game. Though that no longer seems to be an even back burner interest of many players & WGCB I hope at lest a few will enjoy this.

Nice post Pagan :honoring:

Never forget!

Incidentally, in the series "Greatest Tank Battles", there is an interesting story about a lone Sherman that survived behind enemy lines after it got separated from its group when its engine would not turn over because it was frozen so the crew had to use Bunsen Burners to thaw it out enough for it to finally start.

In recognition, we should have only the Ardenne's map (all variants) in rotation for 24 hours straight.

Nice videos. I had seen the Greatest Tank Battles one before but watched it again because I enjoy that series. For those who are avid readers like myself, I recommend The Bitter Woods by John D. Eisenhower and A Time for Trumpets by Charles B. MacDonald. Good reads both.

Happy Tanking All!

Nothing to add but just chiming in with "nice post".

Highly recommed "Battle of the Bulge", and "To Win the Winter Sky" Air War over the Ardennes, 1944 -1945. Both by Parker Danny S. Excelent reads well researched.

Regards, John Waters.
