Foreword; I own one of the very first Xbox 360; before I moved to the USA. Each year, I spend my annual vacation in my former home. This year, I connected my 360 to the Internet, and decided to start a new WoT adventure; rules are: no purchase of any kind.

It is tough!

Playing tanks with 50% trained crews, no equipment, no supplies, slowly climbing along the packages....

it puts all the complaints about match making, premium tanks, Premium ammunition into perspective.

It is a lot more difficult than one would expect, thinking they already have the experience.

It is a very good incentive, and I recommend it to those bored with their current account.

And, 360 or not, it does not take long to get into battles, just the same queuing time as with my PS4. Not bad at all.

They won't last even a handful minutes without all their commodities.

Your WN8 is 279 with the reroll......is that not boring?  No thanks.

When a man with a .45 meets a man with a rifle, you said, the man with a pistol's a dead man. Let's see if that's true. Go ahead, load up and shoot.

It helps a lot if you take it slow.  Silver is the key.  You will earn XP faster than you can afford to advance.  Stick with a tank until you have it fully equipped and enough silver to purchase/equip your next tank as well as give the new crew regimental training.

If you want to be one of the 47 Ronin check out our recruitment post and then send a message to Prof935 (xbox) or dimka935 (ps4).

War Stories, Freebies in the store, cheap premiums aka personal offers. Not hard to get a start except training crews, unless you train them in WS.

I bought a PS4 last year just because. I didn't see much issue building an account, but I've also been there lol.

Damn rerolls

I got the M41 90 and the Fury but went up the British med TT :amazed:

It is a stint job; if it was going to be a long term objective, I don't know how I would go about it.

I do not think the WN8 really reflects the general performance, but rather my lack of adaptation to some of the vehicles I had never played before. In particular, the Type 51 Japanese. I think I understand why some players are so careful to avoid direct confrontation.

I also managed to totally botched my Pz. 1C experience by using it with the wrong gun...

Never say never..... I know I will get back to my treasures once I get back home, but as it is now, I don't miss them. It is fun to start a new WoT life. As long as you do not mind losing a lot.....

Yay, obviously, I did not do that.... it is Wargaming's fault though! they dandled a mercenary tank in front of me, and I decided to grind the tanks necessary to get it. At the same time.

So I needed German light Tier III, and Japanese Type 51... they did give me a day of premium that I botched because it was Christmas.

I am a slow learner, duh... instead of staying back and being effective, I want to stay front and pay the ultimate price.

Bad habits are hard to get rid off.

I am not really considering this a real reroll... but it is a pleasant experience, I dare to say.

It gives you the ability to see how much you still need to learn.

I thought I knew enough after 1.5 years of playing on my PS4, and in fact, I found that I am still completely inadequate as far as being a Chameleon with the tank I am playing, taking into account, weak crews, no equipment and no supplies.

But it will come, maybe later than sooner...

Does playing/watching the tutorials still pay out gold?

Actually, I am going to put out a little help guide to the new world of tank player who does not want to spend a single dollar and still get on with the game....

One the two tanks I played was the Type 91, and this was a huge mistake.

If you want to get by at no cost, as recommended by deadman1921, the key is to play War Stories, finish at least the first two chapters.

You will get 600k Silver and 20k Free XP.... that makes a big difference.
