Same tier tanks with good guns will manage, but other tanks are truly in the [edited]against it. Did WG really need to give it a monster gun too?

i think it's ok, it's virtually a KV-85 and while it's powerful it only has 3 degrees of gun depression and only 8 kph backwards. The KV-2 is stronger as it doesn't need to pen to do damage.

No the Reach is not OP. The KV-85 for instance can be equipped with the same gun ... with more fire rate, more accuracy and less aim time. And the gun of the Reach has no depression towards the ground.

You are right. And happily there are well balanced tanks like the Reach in tiers VI to fight against the Absolution !

Absolution is broken and i cringe when i see one. I also have one but i don't want to use it unless i have to do a Heavy Contract out of respect. If they removed the spaced armour on the side then it would be balanced in my opinion.

Reach is most definitely not OP, even at top tier. The KV-85 is much more of a monster when top tier due to its better mobility and DPM.

Also KV-85 is better with the 100 mm for DPM, Reach doesn't have a choice.

I happily sold mine before playing a single game in it. But I'm surprised that anyone would call it OP. Most of the reviews were negative calling it crap at best.

The 13. (Tiger) Kompanie, of Panzer Regiment Großdeutschland, reported on the performance of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56, when their Tigers engaged the T-34: "First round hits were usually achieved at ranges between 800 to 1,000 meters. At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

3 MoE tanks: T-34, Pz IVH, Tiger I, Pz.Kpfw. T 25, M7, T-50

I read the same reviews before this surprising post, but for me the Reach is not crap, not OP, it is just OK !

Il am on the Reach contract now and looking forward to playing this tank. I don’t see how it can be OP if I can tear it up with my Roundabout.  Took him from full health to a smouldering hulk in 4-5 shots (caught him on top of a hill in the open). I’ll reserve judgment until I play it.
