Every match today just felt like I was fighting the game more than I was the enemy team. RNG that crossed the border from bad to bull [edited], teams that were complete garbage, I kept feeling that me and maybe one other teammate would have to drag the team to victory no matter how much they wanted to lose. Corridor map after corridor map. Enemy tanks that seemed to have there shells guided by the hand of Stalin regardless of whether or not they were Russian. 

 

I don’t usually vent or make threads about it but today was ridiculous.

Tuesday I never should have quit playing.  Wednesday and Thursday were polar opposites with Wednesday being the worst.  Tanks that couldn’t miss on Tuesday, couldn’t hit anything on Wednesday.

WG could fix a good part of it if they would just balance the game based of the skill AFTER MM. That's ok to say that implementing skill IN mm would make the time in queue longer but after mm, that would mean about 1-2 seconds more... (only 30 players to parse and sort at that time) Never heard back from WG about this idea and why this couldn't be done... :sceptic:  Hope that at least they collect data about skill vs outcome of the game.

If you wanted to make it even more simple, WG could fix a good part of it if they would just balance the game based on the 30 selected tanks AFTER MM. So often we all see a game where you look at the board and think "you know, if two of our Tier VIII's went to their team and two of those Tier X's came over to Green Team, then this game would be balanced". There are almost always a bunch of unplatooned players that could be swapped to balance things out, and a computer should be able to do that calculation in under a second (which is all time it takes any of us to do it in our head).

This whole week has been terrible save for Wednesday for me.  Way too many well aimed shots that still missed or bounced while Red was able to fire at me with laser guided precision.

I agree with the op completely. To me it feels like something fundamental is broken, like maybe the rng is turned way up. The mm balance seems way off too. I have been having a lot more landslides than usual and teams (red and green) with over half the players doing 0 damage.

I had a game last night in my Awful panther where shots just weren’t connecting.   

Flank a tortoise,,,doesn’t matter because I can’t hit it afterwards. 

Flank the M103 ,,,,same. 

Really those were important shots and had I been able to make them I with a high probability would have been able to turn the game around:(

Funny how most games recently have been landslides one way or the other. And we'll never get a response from wargaming as to what is going on. And really getting tired of getting friends together to platoon up and being bottom tier 3 or 4 times in a row. That's the thanks we get for supporting the game

I believe the tortoise needs the commander hatch buffed as where the t-95 command hatches are over buff and why is this tank so deep in cow pucky its definitely sad to see a tank that consists of being picked apart game after game.I deam that why of all so good does this game persist of a Random Number Generated by a slot machine computer system and if I am correct you pay for a game that will give you wins but gives you negatives at a all time high.

Going to let you in on a secret: right now oodles of players are running the Tortoise because they want the Badger.  As the Tortoise’s weaknesses currently stand, it makes those players miserable.  In turn, this tempts a percentage of those players to spend gold to convert XP, thus ending their misery more quickly.  Ergo, WG will not buff the Tortoise until people barely play it anymore.  Cha-ching.

Had a few more games, three marked my WZ 132 but I'm pretty sure shooting my self in the kneecaps would of been more fun than playing with some of the teams I had. I dont think Ive had quite so many 1k base xp defeats in one day.

Yeah, today has been terrible too. I'm on the last stage of a merc tank, but I just can't face the grind it will take with gameplay this bad.

 

Off to play something else instead.

 

Please WG, fix the MM. It's not fun being bottom tier 4 or 5 games in a row.

Yesterday was one of the least fun sessions I’ve had in a long time. Today while I still didn’t win a lot was at least much better. It just seems to go in cycles. 

I asked an EOD man how he dealt with the stress of his job. 

 

He said he didn’t have any stress. Either he was right or else it became someone else’s problem.
