I just received a custom offer for legion 59-patton Is good?

The american medium I had was all dung (M4A2E4, revenge ...), the patton is it different?

The big wart on the top is it easy to manage?

It's largely regarded as being a bad tank. It's a dual nation trainer, but doesn't get any silver boost AFAIK.

i like the tank, imo it plays WAAAY better than the T95E2 even though it sees tier 10, mainly due to having 400m view range, more pen (no contest:  T95E2 173/250/45 pen vs Type-59 patton 212/250/45 wile having exact other gun stats) and the hull armor is WAAAAY more reliable, like it is a HUGE Difference (hull armor on the T95E2 is SUPER easy to pen). it also has great crew training bonuses and can train both US and Chinese crews, so imo. it is 100% worth it!!!

main strength imo of the tank in combat is View Range and Gun reliability, so i would usely try to spot enemies but also play as a long range Support. the hull armor can bounce shells too! (though mostly bounced shells at long ranges so that may also play a part)

Edit: the giant cupola is not as big of a problem if you are at long ranges and if you try to bait them into hitting it by moving unpredictably.

The regular 59 patton version is better because it gives you 50% + silver bonus. If you play it as a support you can get big games in it, big silver.

Just a heads up if you're expecting this to be a American crew trainer you're going to be disappointed. It's actually listed as a Chinese premium (as it's based on the Type 59)

https://console.worl..._Patton_Legion/

And personally, if you're looking for a Chinese tier 8 premium the King Dragon is better, as is the regular type 59 since the Legion Patton gets no additional silver multiplier compared to non-premium tanks.

I like mine. Great gun, good hull armor, be wary of the awful turret armor. It's a great crew trainer since it can use US and Chinese crews, and has a good crew xp bonus and so on.

It's a dual trainer, so it can use US crews. Trained one American crew from just sixth sense to have camo, BIA, Situational Awareness, and recon as well.

Really? That's actually a neat thing I didn't know and it makes sense for the xp/silver %s now. However I haven't seen that many successful games in that tank though and the numbers looked okay. The Type 59's PMM is pretty nice.

But neither the Type 59 nor the King Dragon can train American crews. This is important because most Chinese tanks under go the balancing process of being Chinese, and are literally worse than their other counterparts for no other reason than that they are Chinese tanks. Almost all of the competitive Chinese tanks are actually premium tanks, funnily enough. This means that training Chinese crews is useless for many. Personally, I'd rather train American crews in my Legion rather than tanks like the Super Pershing, but to each their own.  You probably haven't seen many successful games in the tank as the majority of the WoT population has brain damage and can't use a tank that has flaws, and also the fact that the Legion is not played that much. I got mine for free by the way, China #1.

no one suffers for silver in this new giveaway meta. the normal 59 patton is not worth buying.

the Legion however is one of the few premiums worth paying money for.
