it's 100% because of the 360. It's a dinosaur that simply can't handle what this game does anymore. There's a reason it never came to PS3 when those consoles were still relevant.

They say it's because they want to eliminate 500 crashes a day, but as I've never had a crash on any of those maps... I'm leaning towards those crashes being 360 based.

 

I mean, if you can afford to throw cash at WG weekly/monthly, you can afford to update your console. Just how long is WG going to support a system that barely anyone else recognises still?!

Did you see my screen shot of the square muzzle on the 50TP on X360? Why would people want to play a game with such poor graphics is beyond me. Maps, tanks, lighting effects, shadows, particle effects, they all look gorgeous on Xbox One or X. It's a shame all the 360 player are missing out on this. It's also a huge shame new content isn't being added due to previous gen console holding the devs back (Frontline mode for example).

I dont see them listing the 360 anywhere, could be all the random extra garbage and pop-in they have on the Xbox one maps. Would prefer new console detail tanks and old console detail maps. freaking pop-in so much worse on the Xbox one X at 1080P than on the 360

It's definitely the 360 consoles. I'm not trying to hate on anyone, i know some can not afford the xbox1. But WG needs to look closely at how many still use the 360. I know they don't want to alienate players. It is time to move forward!!!

I play on both consoles, X1 and 360. Highway and Live Oaks.  Two very good maps.

 

Didn't Live Oaks get a timeout for several months once before?  Something about tanks flying in the air or something.  Or was that Highway?  Or both?

 

Precedent suggests that we won't see those two again for up to 12 months.

If it IS the 360, for real, how much more information and data is needed to make a decision that it's time to move away from the 360?

 

Yes, I'm speculating.

 

I've not had one issue on any of those maps.  Well, I've not had any PERFORMANCE issues on any of those maps - XBOX ONE.  I might not like several of those maps, but that's a different conversation.

Xbox 360  no performance issues.

Saying anyone barely recognises the 360 would be harsh and really underestimates the memory of the human race.

 

The 360 gave us a more expanded leap into the future, with it's "Red ring of death" feature...hang on.

​Yeah, near all of the maps on that list are ones that were previously withdrawn with issues - makes me wonder if the last update hasn't undone whatever solution WG found to get them working.
