I always choose improved ventilation because I'm greedy and I want my crew to do the best they can. But I noticed a lot of you guys never mention improved ventilation as one of your equipment preferences. Am I missing something? Do you think improved

ventilation is a good and worthwhile equipment choice?

After Rammer and Vert Stabs, I usually opt for Coated Optics. Vision being King and all. However, on a big blind Soviet Heavy, I'll take Vents over Optics just to improve the RoF and Gun Handling as much as possible. Normally, though, Optics over Vents.

At low tier, most lights and mediums can't use vert stabs, so optics, rammer, vents is an option.  Most heavies woild benefit more from GLD.  Once vert stabs become available, it is almost a mandatory choice for mediums and lights.   Heavies and TDs with poor base view ranges or severe accuracy issues might use vents instead of optics.  Autoloaders can't use a rammer so vents is the only way to decrease their reload time.

Vents has its place. Mostly when your crew isnt to skilled. It does work. As mentioned some unis run vents on certian heavies. The majority of players run vision and rammer, stabilizer. Imo

are vents 5 percent boost or 10?
I'm only as good as the map they give me.

5 percent on everything. Is like duplicating BiA.

It's my personal first equipment choice if available as BiA is my first skill choice despite being a perk. I prefer to have a better overall in the stats and then specializing the crew according in what it needs, specially for crews that have been going from tank to tank until sitting in a Tier X.

I use vents on most of my heavys and on high tier mediums which already have over 460m+ viewrange (like patton with 420m base + BIA + cola + 20m viewrange-skills)

On lower tier meds i would always recommend optics over vents.

Viewrange is on of the most important things in the lategame and it will help you to get more assistdamage for moe.

Vents only increase your crew by 5% which increase your reload, viewrange, movement and so on by 2.5%

3. Marked Tanks: 78

Hmmm, doesn't specify percentage but it must be explaining certain issues i had.

I stay corrected :)

I put vents on anything that will take it 95% of the time as well. I think I may have some TD's such as the StuG that doesn't have it. It is the "Overall" performance enhancements that make is a valuable piece of equipment not just the one or two things such as Reload and Vision. Your Terrain Resistance, Hull and Turret Traverse, Aim time, Radio Range, and although your actual dispersion isn't reduced the dispersion after firing and while damaged is reduced. Then when combined with BiA it is all just so much better. I know sometimes I am conflicted when it comes to outfitting my tanks because there are just times when you really feel like you would like to use that equipment slot for something else.

I usually run vents over vstabs....mostly because if I'm firing while moving, I'm either a really long way away and it is just a snap shot....or at point blank range...where it won't matter.

Not true, it enhances your crew's basic skills not your trained skills/perks.

Oh I didn't even think about improving crew skills. I've been adding ventilation just because I want my crew to be more comfortable especially in the maps where it's hot

I like vents unless for the playstyle there is other more critical equipment as mentioned above. For slow heavy armor with fixed or limited turret traverse ability to rotate in place is critical.  And Spall Liner helps a lot vs arty.   Camo for TDs and some scouts.

Any tank that can fit them!  I am not sure how many skills are effected by it, but I am sure all those +5%'s add up to a bigger bonus than any given equipment's bonus to just one skill!
