I see the unskinned version in the store today, does anyone know if you still had to buy camo for the Audace? I see some of the newer (skinned?) tanks still needing the clear coat paint?  I really liked the look of the Audace, but if I need to buy camo as well, I think I would just consider getting the non-skinned version. Just curious, I would wait for the base sale in either case, but the camo might be tipping point on which one to buy....

Thanks all!

The Audace could apply normal camo.

I don't get the point of paying the extra for the skinned version if you then have to apply camo.

The old excuse for the increased cost of the skinned version was that it included perma cano. But that's no longer true for a lot of skinned tanks.

The whole thing is clear as mud.... Reskins can either: Have camo baked in(which I think is no more), Have National camo available to apply, or Only have Clear Camo as an option.  Which tanks apply to which options is definitely unknown until someone buys them; and that’s a problem.

The policy should be that any tank intended to have no cosmetic camo changes(currently offered with Clear Only) should have the camo bonus baked in as before.  Any tank that has access to national camos(especially reskins) should have their prices adjusted further down and possibly have camo vouchers available in bundle purchases for further discounts..... if you sell half price camo in fairly priced bundles you might even sell more bundles to someone who would otherwise be stingy and wait for a camo sale.

I actually like the look of the Audace over the unskinned version. That sandbag machinegun emplacement on the back deck amuses me for some reason. But there is no reason it should cost a lot more than the unskinned version, especially if you then have to buy camo paint on top of it.

Just look at the Tankopedia and you'll see Audace and non-skin version cost same "10,700" gold. I've asked MaxChaos24 if Audace price is wrong or not and he's answered "it's right".

He confirmed me that they WGCB won't put different price tag on reskin tank and non-skin tank. If they WGCB would sell non-skin version of "Iron Rain B.", it would cost as same as Iron Rain B.:)

Fun fact the Audace has a bit of spaced armor on the front. Dunno if the normal 105 has the tracks on the fron though so it my not actually be a difference.

I was wondering if all the extra bits on the Audace act as spaced armor or not.....

I just looked at the two models and it looks like only, the layer of tracks at the front are showing in the armor viewer so my guess is that’s the only thing that does.
