Tank XP. You can view all the bonuses on the Tankopedia. Here is one for example: 

 

T34 Black Edition has a 75% Xp bonus compared to the 10% Xp bonus on the regular T34

why is tank xp important you can't do anything with it but waste your gold to convert it?

 

or am I stupid and more tank xp = more free and crew xp?

Well, if the xp is multiplied by 175% (3 quarters of the total xp) this will also increase crew xp by 75%

 

So black tanks are better crew trainers, but in some cases, other premium versions have more free xp % or silver %

In the Netherlands we have a saying that goes "vragen naar de bekende weg" which roughly translates to: "asking for directions to destinations allready visited" (or something, you probably get it) but this is not fact, just suspicion... i mean it's not like this subject has been post/spoken about for like 500+ times allready on these forums, so...

Correct, they do get 25% ACT  for a total of 2125 Crew XP with 1700 Tank XP.

No, I used the same number of 1,000 Base XP earned. You just used 75% instead of 70%. 70% is the Premium Vehicle bonus, the other 5% applies to base XP so you can't include it a second time as it's already part of the 1000 Base.

The premium bonus listed by all the black tanks is listed as a 75% bonus & a 5% free xp bonus. Are you implying that the listed 5% free xp is a false bonus and should be deducted from the tank xp bonus?

Think you may have misread. The 5% is a Base XP bonus, not Free Xp. Free XP earn rate is 5% still.

So I’m understanding that the 75% bonus would read similar to this

(XXX * 1.05= 1000 base XP) * 1.7

 

Its actually a 70% xp bonus from the base xp displayed.

Premium tanks can have 2 Xp Bonuses. One is a Base XP bonus, the other is a Premium Vehicle bonus. 

The Base XP portion is worked into your Base XP amount while the Premium Vehicle bonus is applied afterwards, which is seen on your PBRS under "Premium Vehicle Bonus" in the XP breakdown section.

 

The Tankopedia displays the Total XP bonus for the tank.
