Out of curiosity, has anyone actually won Scorpion Pass Assault from defense?

I know that assault is usually the least balanced game mode, and Scorpion Pass isn't exactly a good map, but when combining the two I've noticed that it seems to be the one-sided map in the game. The attacking team freely gets to move into aggresive positions in every direction surrounding the base because the defending team has to spend the beginning of each match slowly climbing the hill, and by the time both teams start engaging each other the defending team is in a much worse position while the attacking team is dug in where it's nearly impossible to dig them out. Add on the fact that the defending team's arty struggles to hit enemies since they're always shooting up and over ridges while the attacking team's arty has easy shots everywhere except a few places which have hard cover and you have successfully made one of the most uphill battles for defense (literally).

Yeah,  but its rare.

World of tanks Auto lock edition,  because aiming shouldn't be a skill.

I'm not sure anything is worse than Malinovka assault. Defenders start pinned in one tiny corner of the map while attackers can sit on the cap with complete impunity.

That layout leads to some insane assisted dmg.

^This. If either team spreads out and you can push forward and rack up a ton of assistance damage on Mali Assault, but on Scorpion Pass Assault the only engagements send to be at around 200m, making even getting spotting damage nearly impossible.

Not an ideal map for the mode let alone any map but it all comes down to your teams

I did win it in the HMH FV305.

If I remeber correctly reds had 3 heavies left and it was me and a medium or heavy. It has been long ago so I cant remember exactly.

But what I know is I killed one heavy with spotting help from my team mate. My team  mate got taken out and the 2 heavies were capping with enough time left to win.

So I spotted myself, decapped and ran away. There wasnt enough time left for the reds to cap.

I received some GG messages after the game. That was fun. ;)

Red team did win that yeastarday when defending, but green team had potato factor on that game. I was in top tier medium at tier 8 STG and both teams had 8 top tiers on that match. I was attacking at 7-9 line with few tanks being behind me and 9 tanks were attacking on the goat path. I was doing just fine in there until those few behind me were killed and those reds swarned me, but just then i noticed that all those 9 who were playing goats were killed by two tanks and rest of the reds were there were i was. I did kill three tanks and did 3.6 k damage and next best on my team was another medium who were sniping behind me and had little over 1k damage and 7 tanks had total zeros on board. So it is easily won when there are enough potatos
