[AGENT 72 ORANGE]

Absolute trash! Just finished a game 10 top tier 7's against our 5 top tier. Match making is horrific. It's either that type of crap or your close to even but enemy gets heavily armored tanks to our paper armor tanks. PLEASE for the love of God do something about this. Been playing since beta but can NO LONGER take it! Good bye garbage of tanks.

IMHO, the MM extremes (out of balance) are getting worse and more frequent.  That or my memory is fading badly.

I have to agree almost 80% of my tier 8 games are bottom tier

Im newer so my opinion only matters so much but I see a pretty fair balance of games where im top tier to ones im bottom tier. I still think the whole +/-2 is stupid and a big part of the problem but I get it helps speed up wait time. It seems the 3/5/7 MM on PC is a whole lot worse to deal with

I have screenshots of some of my worst ones. Today I was in a battle were the reds had 5 or 7 heavy tanks and all we had were medium’s.
High five to the first one to guess how that ended

Most of my 3 marks were earned while bottom tier. More HP to farm.

Platoons screw up matchmaking.  Good players can dominate even when bottom tier.  So get good and stop relying on platoonmates to carry.

Agreed, too many of these 10 heavies vs 10 mediums/tank destroyer games.

 

Worst has to be heavies vs tds in encounter.

Yes. The MM is absolute trash. It doesn’t need fixing. It needs general rework from scratch because it doesn’t make “errors” it makes garbage games by design.

There was a pretty good thread on here about this a week or so ago as many of the peeps that have chimed in are aware. On the surface it looks like a-lot of the MM stuff could be made better by assigning proper weights by tier and class instead of having so many of them be the same weight. It wouldn't be an end all be all fix but at least when the MM shuffles the 30 tanks the teams should be more even.

Had two baffling MM games myself yesterday.  Turned on the Xbone and tooned with a couple of friends.  We each pick our tier 8 tanks and BOOM! thrown into a tier X match.  That is not unusual, but what was, the other team had 0 tier 8 tanks.  We were the only tier 8 tanks in the game.  We get crushed (we held our own best we could).  We decide to try again because you can't have that MM twice right!?  Wrong!  Exact same thing happened next game.  So my first two games last night involved me being in a tier 8 playing against tier 9 and 10 teams.  Thankfully I know how to use my tanks well enough to make it work.  Pretty discouraging to say the least though.

But on a map like Prok you would have had the advantage.
