I know I said I wouldn't reply to you anymore, but that ticked me.

I have played on PC WoT way before console bud. I'm a five year vet on console, as well as 6-7 on PC.

Now that's my final reply.

Yea, thought you would. What more do you want? With five years on console you must have loads of premium tanks you've won. What more do you think you deserve?

OP, you've been playing for 5 years and have 5K battles? Are you serious...? xD

Don't get me wrong, it's great you stuck around for so long, but with a battle count that low it's hard to treat your "continuous support" seriously.

Besides, as many forumers before me have already said, WG has been very generous with reward ops and free premium tanks given away over the years.

Perhaps if you played more, you would appreciate the free stuff more. For instance, Fatherland IS-3A was up for grabs twice and you missed out on it on both occasions.

Stick around and try to complete the quarterly ops this year. Who knows what WG has in store for us once we complete all of them. :)

The amount of tanks I have has doubled in the last six months, what with all the free tanks I've had the opportunity to win.

I've seen major improvements and major map revamps which you have never played on before. I was here even when the Russian line wasn't there.

not sure how that qualifies you for anything if I'm being honest. I'm not one to focus on battle count but even I have to say that if 5years and 5k is all you can manage I'm not sure you've played enough to even know just how much free crap we're given. I have 200 or so tanks about half of which are free premiums.

Pretty much this.

Time spent playing > first game to current date.

Personally i dont want any low tier reward tank as i extremely rarely play low tiers and would much rather be able to choose a reward from a selection (the tank, a little gold, boosts, free exp, whatever) as i feel that would be a better system. But since they arent obligated to give us anything then, thanks for making an effort i guess.

Another complain about free stuff post. How about you look back over the course of your 5 years in this game and add up all the free stuff wargaming has given you. As previously stated by others most games don't give you anything but WOT gives away free tanks every new years, free tanks on wot birthday free premium time on your anniversary, and constant earn ops and every time someone like you cries about it. The company has done some shady things before but lack of free stuff surely isn't one of them.

Honestly your game count says it all. You gotta show up to blow up. You can have 1 of my 45 earned premiums.

At the place I'm employed at, we're about 80% military vets.  We have a saying, "...don't complain about free beer.. .free food..."  It's basically a revocation of your man card when someone complains.

Most games don’t have 5 year players either.

I don't know about this

I've played on and off a few games for more than 5 years- World of Warcraft, Baldurs Gate, Hearts of Iron, Madden in it's yearly forms,Diablo and maybe a few others.  I can't recall ever getting anything from them free at all.

I can't begin to count the free tanks, silver, PS4 store free packages, bonus's, anniversary and holiday gifts, things like twitch prime offerings etc. this game has provided.  You are free to gripe, but we do get A LOT of free stuff here.

I thought most did...

Lotro and SWTOR did.

It makes good business sense when it doesn't cost the company anything and stimulates the player numbers.

But reward ops sent for us.. they are for player retention.. to populate the servers.. wg doesn't just give thanks away because they are nice.. they do it to keep people playing . I want a to be special.. I'm a unicorn.. unique.. 5 years is a long time..

What else do you want? It's raining free stuff around here. I've made about 20M silver since Christmas. I've got about 500 boosts and pile of other useful stuff including 20 free garage slots. The five year gif and free Tier II is "Meh" as far as I'm concerned.

I'll not put a 5 on any of my tanks because it doesn't mean anything and I don't like to advertise. Honestly, barrel rings are worth more because that shows who knows how to play. Any fool can fail for 5 years.

My 5 years is in a few months and honestly I couldn't be more appreciative of all the free stuff WG gives us. We've had many opportunities to earn free tanks and these are the ones I've had for free:

Steadfast
T1E6-X1
Tomte L-60
Blitzen MTLS
Father Frost LTP
Raeiniai BT-7A
Lycan T71
Champion M4 Sherman
T-34-88
Champion Panther/M10
Krafts Panther
AMX CDC
Centennial T95
HMH Centurion Huntsman
Atomic Centurion
Churchill III
T14
Tiger I Hammer

Plus countless boosts and silver, I'm also more than likely missing a few free tanks aswell. If I can amass all these freebies in nearly 5 years then you would have had plenty opportunity to do the same. I also missed out on the free Motherland and the Vanquisher thing.

If this isn't enough for you then I'm sorry mate but that's just greed. As others have said most games give away nothing, WG are a very generous developer especially considering it's a F2P model. I've played 2000 combined on Destiny 1 and 2, I've spent roughly £600 on it for games and DLC with no freebies whatsoever and that's only one example.

Please be grateful not greedy :).

To get those tanks you played at least 100 in game hours populating servers to keep a game viable to the server numbers are high enough to support a broken matchmaker and keep those if us that spend real money from having long que times.. if you figure minimum wage is $7.25*100=$725.00 you P(L)AID

Nothing is free.. you pay with money or time.. and in a free game that needs hight population numbers to keep the game viable.. time is litterly money

I take offence to that. I have a low count as well, when I joined the forum a few months ago, I was at just a tad over 5k battles, but had something like 40ish premium tanks. Now its almost a 50% premium to non premium tank distribution.
“Greatness is a transitory experience. It is never consistent. It depends in part upon the myth-making imagination of humankind. The person who experiences greatness must have a feeling for the myth he is in. He must reflect what is projected upon him. And he must have a strong sense of the sardonic. This is what uncouples him from belief in his own pretensions. The sardonic is all that permits him to move within himself. Without this quality, even occasional greatness will destroy a man.”

And free low tier premiums are given in attempt to boost low tier server population and improve que times.. nothing to scare off a new player like waiting 5 min for a 2 min match

The free stuff means different things to different people. I only play the tier 2 giveaway tanks when the updates are downloading, but I appreciate them then. But I have received numerous tanks from ops that I didn't pay for.

I remember how excited I was to get my first free days of premium and played solidly to grind stuff out with them. Now I have hundreds of days left it means less personally to me, but I recognise that others still see it as a massive opportunity. My friends and family are normally thrilled to receive free premium and silver when they are low, so I'm still grateful that it's a thing that WG do.

I understand your point OP, some will be thrilled to customise their tank with the emblem, others don't use them, others have bought emblems for all their tanks. Yes getting a usable premium, or your choice of emblem would be great. Unfortunately that still means different things to different people.

:)
