Because for me this is a living nightmare. I literally can't do well in this tank. The gun traverse is so small it makes aiming a real pain. Stock gun can't pen a box of matches. It is slow as a turd. If I try to snipe I get spotted imediately.

Coming from the Nashorn, with over 65% win rate, and which was quite fun sometimes, this piece of [edited]tank St. Emil has  broken my will to play the game for a while...

T95/the Churchills/Stock E50

Compliments and Credit to STLxSTANG for the sig.

The 8.11 TD rebalances need to be implemented.

Churchill’s are pretty good from the get-go, in my experience.

Sturer Emil is horrific, but the top gun packs a punch so you can ruin someone’s day before you inevitably go up in flames.

I found the ARL 44 to be a tough grind until you unlock the top guns and turret.

IS-3 was pretty bad, especially if you didn’t elite the IS

The Churchills weren’t bad, but I gave up on the Black Prince after like 3 games a few years ago

The VK 30 was also pretty bad, for a tier 5

Its decent enough with the top package in a good match up but only 15 rounds.

For me the panther 2 was worse, its the only tank i've given up on mid grind that isnt arty.

The St. Emil is probably the worst grind in the game, although the SAu 40 and ARL V39 give it a run for its money.

I quite enjoyed the Emil. Once you learn it's strengths it can do really well. Find  a ridge line, use the depression. When you get top gun it's brilliant.

The slow godawful British turretless tank destroyers are infinitely worse. Pure misery once an arty spots you.

Stock gun on most things are bad....need use free xp or war stories to move to top gun!

St Elmo is a great fun tank with a huge gun!   The top gun package is sweet, use ridge/hills to creep over to take shots, you can also run behind a pack of heavies to lower the boom!  Working on my 3rd Mark.

What's the worst imo, the UK Church I & Church VII or Japan I-O / O-Ni or the Kranvagn but I'm not a fan of slow heavies ;)  Also the UK TDS can be not so fun at the AT series or the Church GC.

I thought the Emil was ok, if you got nice open maps in rotation. Anything else it sucked.

My dislike of +/- 1 pales in comparison to my hatred of Loaded Dice.

It's been years so I don't remember much beyond liking it. There's a good chance I skipped the stock packages if I did dislike them but in general I try to not to judge tanks based on stock grinds otherwise certain tanks would never see my garage. Except the tier 4 polish tank. That tank can go rust in a bog for all I care

I liked it from stock way back when i grinded it on xbox 360, i might not like it now though, considering the amount of autoloaders, overpowered premiums and horrible CQC maps in the rotation.

Either way it's not a bad tank if you get into the right position and you've got some decent players up ahead that you can support, it's just that it's mostly dependent on team and map to do well.

The British TDs are actually really good, albeit somewhat monotonous, outside of the AT-8. Also, the Churchill Game Carrier is actually a great assault gun TD, especially since its armor buff.
