Recently found success scouting with the T-54 rather than focusing on heat spam (especially in T10 games) and saw my average combined rise from 2.5-3k to 4-6k in recent games esp when there is no (competent) green light.  I switched out repairs and clutch braking for camo and silent driving and practically and have been pleasantly surprised how risky I can be without being spotted. Anyway, I was wondering how useful muffled shot was on a medium tank. The issue is I have 9 skills on my t54 crew (bia,6th,snapshot,smooth driving, sit. awareness, recon, firefighting, camo, silent driving, repairs) and I'm not sure if its worth it to switch any out.

Thank you for any info- esp how the console camo perks work as I don't fully understand.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger weaker, but what does kill you makes you smarter.

Why play the T-54 when you could play the Obj 140?

And by looking at your crew skills it makes it look as if you play it like a TD nog a brawling medium.

Looks good to me. I have 11 skills and trained them in roughly this order: 6S, BiA, gun skills, repair skills, view skills, Silent Driving, Camouflage, Controlled Impact, and I'm learning Off-Road Driving.

So Prev. Maintenance and Track Mechanic instead of view skills.

I disagree, I'm not burning often enough for any firefighting skills on top of my auto-FE.

Dropping the fire extinguisher for prem consumables is really imoortant

+2.5% view range/radio range/rof/aim time etc.

It's really not. Frankly if you need food to be effective with a T-54 you should maybe not play WoT at all.

If you are playing a T-54 you are going to lose silver so why not take food aswell? Why not just make your tank 2.5% better?

Food always costs the same, not matter if you lose or win money otherwise. It also improves every tank in the same way.

So of course you can spend the money, as with every tank, but the T-54 does not need it. It's already a very, very good tank.

You pay with two skill slots, that's too much to pay for making a very, very good tank to a very, very, very good tank.

the whole idea of perks and skills is to make your tank better. that response legitmately makes no sense...

why would anyone choose to have 4% better view range over 2.5% better overall tank performance.

Dwarfondrogs. I like more T54 than obj. 140. Turret is better on T54 then on obj.140. Its funn tank.

If you play him like pasiv spot than yes. But T54 loose his funn factor by playing him like this.
