i bought this tank back recently during the tier 10 sell,  i do not get how to play this tank.

i get spotted easily even at the edge of my radio range, i also seem to miss a lot of potential shots due to gun handling.

here is what i currently have on the tank:

• All seasons of camo
• Gun Rammer, Camouflage Net, Binoculars

Crew:

Camouflage, Silent Driving, Brothers in Arms, Muffled Shot, Green Thumb, Recon, Repairs, Signal Boosting, Situational Awareness

Training: Sixth Sense.

 

no matter what i do i cannot seem to play this tank correctly, even though i loved the WT auf PZ.IV

so tips could really be helpful! thank you!

You should already have Sixth Sense, it's the most important one. Also, I'd suggest you should swap Signal Boosting for Snapshot since it improves aim time/gun handling. Armorer would also be useful because gun gets damaged often.

ya, i did not realize this crew did not have sixth sense  and i just changed that skill for the one you recommended, thank you for the advice! is there any skill that i have that i should trade for sixth sense?

Signal Boostin is most useless, then Recon or Situational Awareness since you use Binocs and have great view range already. I myself use Coatic Optics since I move quite a lot with Grille 15... but Binocs are fine choice.

I bought it yesterday as well. I would immediately trade some mobility for camouflage. I get spotted instantly..

ya, feels very different compared to the tier 8 and 9, it feels like a huge downgrade compared to the tier 9, the tier 9 with the 150mm feels better than this tank in my opinion.

Wish I could help. Hated it. Couldn't figure it out... on the bright side, the crew was well suited for the light line. One more X researched.

 

Mostly posting to see what kind of tips may show up. Might feel an itch to improve the 36% WR. Lol

-Abuse mobility

-Great crew is a necessity (All camo and view range perks)

Put in the crew... switched some Perks to give Muffled Shot and Green Thumb... and had a really nice session. Over 50% WR overall... wooot. Thanks, TungstenPhoen1x and CommanderZod!

the instant spot on this TD is ridiculous, most of the maps are too small for it,  it can do ok in a city side scraping if you have a lane to shoot down and enough tanks in front  of you to draw the attention of the enemies, but such a let down, going to move the crew onto the Leopard 1 once unlocked.  This TD has to sit so far back not to be the target of every red that it has little impact on the game and with the new heavies moving so fast across the map and med with better view range not worth playing anymore IMO

I bought it and played for couple of days, really fun and effective tank, also it can be used in several roles.

As mentioned before, you really do need a good crew for it if you don't want to get spotted.

How i played it was that i was behind a cover or bush, shoot, get spotted, go behind cover and let your self vanish before shooting again. Repeat =D

Other one was that i simply side scraped and lured people to shoot me and when they missed or hitted tracks, i just shot them.

Third was that i played it literally like soft medium, works great.

Also shoot and scoot works amazing with this tank.

In the end i didn't mind about getting spotted since side scraping and medium style seems to work best with it at least for me so i now have rammer, aim assist and coated in it.

This play style provided first set of stripes for me in 2 days without even trying to get any.

 

Oh, what comes to hitting targets don't shoot before the aim is finished the gun will troll you otherwise, if you want to snap shot, ditch the net and get aim assist.
